The reason seating is so limited is because the man working there is the owner, waiter, host, and chef. It's just him! Very impressive and definitely enhanced the experience. When you sit down he explains everything on the menu and how he prepares it. I had a red wine that he recommended and it was delicious! For dinner, I had the duck. It's truly as amazing as everyone says! However, the unsung hero is the salad that comes on the side. The dressing is a sort of mustard vinaigrette that I've never tasted before but will definitely be searching for in the future. I also had the chocolate fondant for dessert and the chocolate was so rich I ALMOST ;-) couldn't finish it. Overall, this place was amazing and definitely something you shouldn't miss when visiting Montpellier!

The food is very delicate, fine, well prepared. The chef is very young but you can tell he knows what he is doing. Staff: very helpful, always willing to describe all dishes and their customization. A big plus for the pork wellington. They serve genuine "pata negra" smoked black pork ham from spain (see photo). Make sure you try it! Outdoor seating. Make sure you book a table or show up super early! A set costs about 28 Euros.

These were by far the absolute best mussels we have every had...and definitely the best mussels we had during our two week trip to France. We were actually quite surprised to see how large the serving was, especially for the price which was very affordable and probably the best price we saw for mussels during our visit as well. The seafood pasta was filled with fresh fruits de mer. There were local shrimp, fresh mussels, scallops and a local fish I never got the name of, on top of fresh linguini with a creamy red sauce. After dinner we moved to one of the deep, plush sofas that looked out onto the street to enjoy digestifs and people watch. There is a gorgeous bar, and there's dancing. In the summer they have the occasional lingerie show. I'd definitely go back.
