I have to say, Pizza Metro is excellent authentic Italian pizza, as well as the appetizers and deserts. A party of 4 had lunch here after a nice long tour of the wonderful Alhambra. We ordered a meter long pizza (very cool, the only place to get a meter long pizza in Spain, I believe). We were allowed to mix the toppings in different quadrants of the pizza how we wanted it. We also order a mixed appetizer dish of fried finger food, a fresh salad, and a fresh buffalo mozzarella dish. All were wonderful. The ingredients tasted very fresh and well prepared. We ordered a Margherita pizza and an order of pasta with a Bolognese sauce and were delighted to find that our pizza and pasta were quite good. To their credit, the service was the "best" (most attentive, by US standards) of almost anywhere we've been in Spain so far. That said, the food was average and at least partially frozen-reheated. I'm pretty sure the roast potatoes with most dishes were frozen/reheated since they were a bit sqiushy, and so were the green peas and such. The sandwiches (bocadillos) and salads (ensaladas) are perfect and inexpensive too. The lady of the establishment recognized me immediately the second time I was there. My wife and I were preparing for a long trip to Alhambra and stopped in here for some sandwiches and smoothies to go. For about 6 euros, we got a large sized sandwich and freshly made smoothie. We could tell that everything was made with fresh ingredients right in front of us, just as advertised in the shop. After paying for over-priced, sub-par food at other places in Granada, we have decided to make this shop our go-to for lunch for the rest of our time in Granada. The choices are fantastic, healthy, and filling.
