I came to this restaurant upon a recommendation by a local who claimed they have the best local Chilean food and recommended we order sandwiches. He said the sandwiches would be huge- he was not kidding! The menu is a little overwhelming as there are pages upon pages of options! I ordered the Chacarero and was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich had beef, tomato, and green beans. I could only eat half the sandwich and couldn't even pick it up as it was so big! You can definitely share one sandwich between two people, as it wasn't as good for leftovers. The sandwich was delicious, however, the hot sauce on the table was necessary. We went at lunch time on a Sunday and didn't have a problem securing a table. read more

Voy a La Terraza a comer sandwich, nunca he probado los platos. De los primeros totalmente recomendable es el churrasco completo... aunque pidanlo con poca mayo o con poca salsa americana, porque le echan mucho de cada una. La mejor opción es el churrasco o lomito con chucrut. También es rico el chacarero. Son más grandes, traen más carne y (me parece) son más baratos que los de la Fuente Alemana... aunque un factor a considerar es que en La Terraza la carne es frita a la plancha y en la Fuente Alemana es cocida y luego pasada por la plancha. Los completos no son tan buenos porque traen mucho de todo y la salsa americana es demasiado líquida... algo similar ocurre con la palta. Pidan shop Escudo... parece Torobayo. read more

Para mi uno de los mejores BARROS LUCO de la ciudad, abundantes filetes de lomo muy delgados sellados a la perfeccion, jugosos, dorados y ese toque salar que solo un buen sanguchero ofrece, mas láminas de queso derretido suavemente al calor de las carnes hacen, otra vez para mi, uno de los mejores sitios donde disfrutar este manjar...
