I wanted to order the ceasar salad and take some items off of the salad. The server told me to pick them out of my salad by myself. I asked why they can't make the salad without including certain toppings and he rudely told me that when the salad comes to take the toppings I don't want out. The ceasar salad was also very disappointing and did not taste like a traditional ceasar salad. It was very bad. Also there were flies and birds everywhere. It's a shame because the location is very nice but I would not recommend eating here.

The views are amazing! The salads insanely fresh and beautiful presentation on wooden boards. As you can see in my pictures, they give you plenty of ingredients as well. We had the taco salad and Italian salad. For dessert, we had two scoops of ice cream and it was also big! Service was slow but very friendly. I would definitely stop by here if you are visiting the village. This was after our 1 hour hike up the hill and it was a beautiful experience.

I was up next and asked for a sample. The owner refused because he already gave a sample to someone in my group. His explanation was "you think we have good gelato or else you wouldn't be here; you know what that flavor is, so you should assume it's good; so, you don't need a sample." Part of the social contract you enter into by opening a gelateria is that you agree to give a reasonable number of samples to customers. I have eaten gelato all over the world and this is a universal truth. Le Glacier Du Port broke that contract. I left without buying anything. France rules, but this place sucks.

They started us off with an amuse bouche which was a delicious spoonful of a very light and airy cream with a jelly on top and lightly cooked celery to add some crunch. An amazing bite! I had the codfish which was overall pretty good. Many different sauces and complex flavors to go together (maybe too many??) The persimmon dessert was also quite good. This corner caught my eye so we pulled up. There were a good amount of people dining in. Notably next to us was a group of men getting their drink on. We ate family style and shared an order of mussels, salad and pizza. It was just the right amount of serving cos we ended up eating everything. The service was impeccable. From the man who seated us to the dude who brought over our drinks to the lady making the drinks - thanks for such a fun meal.
