They said they have to room to accommodate us as a party of several people will show up at 7pm. That's two hours time. They need to work on their speed and prioritize. When they offer one table more often in one night, they make more profit. Must be a new concept to them as most people rarely stay out longer than 90 minutes for dinner. Must be a German thing.

I found this place and made a reservation months in advance. We have eaten at Noma and dozens of Michelin starred restaurants including some much more expensive three-star joints. This food was magnificent, the pacing and service perfect and the chef came out and had a nice visit with us (our 48th anniversary). I will let others describe the specifics but the gf and I each had one of the tasting menus. wow! A few days later at the opera we mentioned Aqua to a German friend. He said "well I hope it was good, it is the beat restaurant in Germany!"

Well worth the price, and worth the trip just to eat here. And Chef Sven is just wonderful!
