We wandered down the street along the River L'Orne in the rain looking for a spot not too far from our hotel, The Adagio.
We lucked into this lovely restaurant which we found very authentic and one it seemed the locals were fond of.
The food was very local and exactly what you would want from a small French neighborhood restaurant.
Our server did not speak English so she quickly got the manager who was most helpful.
We only wanted a light fair so I got the fish soup and a salad. Both were perfect.
The menu is small, one item in each category. i.e. 1 soup dish 1 salad dish 1 fruit dish, 1 fish dish 1 beef dish, etc.
I had the fish soup which was a rock fish bisque and was in heaven. My husband had the beef dish and it melted in our mouths.
