The waitress was very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Catalan. They even had an English menu. It's definitely fresh made and very good. After all, we had a stressful journey from Valencia that required us to transfer to a different train in Barcelona. Once we checked in and walked out of the hotel, I just pointed to this spot like there was no other choice. Fortunately it wasn't bad. It could've been because it's one of the waterfront eateries that draw passing tourists like Republicans to gay escorts. The menu was fully Italian and pretty robust with a variety of choices. We decided to split a couple of things. The first was the 14,9€ Insalata Cesar, a Chicken Caesar Salad they served in a flatbread basket (Photo 9). They served mixed greens instead of romaine. Although light on greens and grilled chicken, it had a lot of Parmesan shavings, focaccia croutons, and Caesar dressing. The second item was the 18,9€ Pinsa Pancetta e Tartufo, a surprisingly large flatbread topped with truffle cream, Italian pancetta, melted mozzarella, mushrooms, and black truffle pearls (Photo 10). It was definitely enough for two. All in all, pretty good for a dining impulsive choice. This place was a great contrast to the gimmicky tourist food on the strip. We visited twice during our trip, I highly recommend. If you can get a table by the window - even better.
