Wow! We love the little fishing village of Les Goudes , and this is the second restaurant we have…read moretried. It cannot be beat for itslocation and views. Service was impeccable If you want, bouillabaisse you must order in advance If they have the spider crab pasta, I recommend ordering that - a neighboring table enjoyed and it lookedphenomenal. We loved our appetizers as well main course and desserts were fabulous! There is no parking near the restaurant so park as you enter the fishing village and walk over. It's a great little village to take a stroll. Also accessible by public transportation.

The tureen of bouillabaisse which we had reserved two days ahead and cost 65 euro per person, was dumped on the table without any explanation, let alone ceremony. Was it supposed to be lukewarm? No idea--the red-haired waiter served us wordlessly, with a contempt that left us baffled. If we hadn't asked another server for the rouille, it might never have come. We also had to ask him for the fish we knew was the second course. When we complained to the manager as we were paying the bill, he nodded and smiled, and as we were leaving we saw him patting the rude red-haired waiter on the back. Indifferent service is one thing, but the lack of respect here, both for diners (who spoke French, btw) and the restaurant's own food, was overwhelming.

This is the best restaurant in Cassis…read more There I said it. Not only will you find the best vegan and vegetarian meals here, you will find some of the best seafood in all of Provence!* During our four nights in Cassis, we ate dinner here four times. It was that good. First off, the menu is humongous, the wine list is endless, and the hosts are the best. The environment is great too as each one of the different areas gives you a different experience. Inside you'll have the AC, but lack of people watching, on the right side you'll be in a more secluded spot in a more narrow street. On the other side, you'll have plenty of people to watch, and cats to pet as they roam in front of their owners house. Anyway, the food was a blast. Having authentic mediterranean/lebanese food was fantastic. The hummus was beyond delicious. If my wife would let me, I would have licked the bowl clean. They also had home made baklava, which was succulent. The wines were mostly from the Cassis region, and paired well with my vegan meal and my wife's pascatarian dishes. On top of it, they had fruit rums (four kinds!!) that the hosts would give out during the desert. Bottomless and delicious, these drinks sealed the night with the aforementioned baklava. I wish every city in Provence had as amazing food as D'une Rive a l'autre had! *A claim by my wife. I cannot confirm this statement with my own taste buds.

The food was so amazing and so refined! The waitress was so nice and attentive (not always the case in France!) We were just visiting Cassis--but, if I lived there-I would definitely be a regular there!
