The chefs were very accommodating as my travel partner prefers vegetarian food due to her restrictive palate. They made an off menu polenta for her mains. The prices were very reasonable compared to what a 1 Michelin starred restaurant would cost back home in California, USA. Two 6 course meals + two wine pairing cost roughly 350 euros. Unfortunately there were 2 instances of dissatisfaction with our experience. The first was finding a strand of hair mixed in with the food on one of the dishes. I sent it back and they quickly made another one. The second was biting into a shot gun pellet while eating the duck. Guess it was nice to see it must have been wild caught but they should have done a better job to remove the pellet as it could break one's teeth or cause other harm from digesting it. I was a little worried we would be underdressed but most people were dressed smart casual (sneakers, clean looking jeans and a buttoned shirt or sweater). Overall, I was pleased with our meal and experience. I would have rated this a 5 star experience had it not been for the the hair and shot gun pellet.
