I'll start with the fact that they just opened three days ago so in the spirit of giving some grace here's what I can say.
This is located at the top of the Feldstraßenbunker which looks like a hellscape in a dystopian future. So it's a pretty cool location. They've really done a nice job with the succulent gardens and grasses up here. We walked up here so it was a bit of work to get to the top.
The staff was very nice. Maybe the nicest staff in a restaurant in Germany I've ever experienced in 20+ years. We ordered but then sat for 30 minutes. There's was no explanation until we called someone over to inquire. This is when they explained that someone drilled through the wall and cut the Internet. Apparently their ordering system falls apart if there's no Internet. They really need to figure out how to fall back to paper or at least be more communicative.
The Caesar salad was essentially a side salad with generous helping of parmesan. I added shrimp which were perfectly butterflied and cooked. The salad was dressed appropriately.
The fish and chips were lightly battered and served with shoestring fries. The cucumber salad was very nice, not overly vinegar or sugary.
As I mentioned they were apologetic about the logistic problems and comped our round of drinks. I felt like it was an appropriate response to the situation. Had the staff been typical and surly I would have left annoyed but they were so nice I would probably return. read more
