I used the card for transportation to the Basilica Fourviere on the hill taking the Funicular both ways. I tried to go to the Miniature Museum by it was only half price. Another museum only offered a small discount. I did not go to any other museums because I didn't see any while walking around. I did take the river cruise. So overall it wasn't worth purchasing.

Having never been to…read morethis part of France, and since were traveling with my mom, who's 83, we wanted someone who would take good care of us, give us good suggestions and pace the tours with mom in mind. Sebastien Girard, the owner/operator, did much more than that. A piece of our luggage was delayed, and Sebastien made several calls and helped get us the missing bag. He was our transfer from the airport to the hotel, took us on wonderful tours of Peyrouge, the Beaujolais and Annecy, gave us suggestions for our time alone in Lyon, and was the highlight of our time in Lyon. He was punctual, charming, funny, and solicitous of our needs. His large 7 seater van was spotlessly clean and spacious enough for us and out luggage. Sebastien speaks perfect English, and is himself well travelled not only in France, but around the world. When we go back to The Beaujolais region we will not consider using anyone else.

Florian shared his extensive knowledge of local wine accompanied with the region's history. Touring the area by bike gives you the opportunity to really take in the incredible sights and smells of the area. After a short ride, we stopped for a snack and a glass of local wine. Florian even shared produce from his garden. Our next stop was an explanation of a plat of roadside vines. Then, a short bike to Chassagne Montrachet. After touring the winery, we were treated to a very informative tasting by winery staff. We were able to experience the differences in wines due to their distinct terrior. Our next stop was a picnic style lunch at a very nice restaurant. It really gave our group an opportunity to chat and really enjoy Burgundy, over food and wine. We also discovered Florian's home town, Rully, makes very nice wine. After an enjoyable lunch, we cycled to Pommard. There was a headwind, but still a lovely ride. Domaine Lejeune was the last stop of our tour and it was a lovely ending. We were treated to a winery tour during harvest. Seeing the action at the sorting table was a bonus for a winelover. The tasting did not disappoint. We enjoyed wines from Pommard and Mersault. Two of my favorite Burgundian wines! From Pommard, we were transferred back to the pickup location(Tourist Office) by van. Our full day tour seemed to pass quickly and were appreciative to have taken in so much of Burgundy in such a short period. I recommend you ask questions and by an active participant in the tour. It is truly hard to imagine a more enjoyable motorcycling environment than what I found - beautiful, curvy mountain roads in every direction. Traffic was light. The weather was perfect. I rode for about eight hours each day and I feel like every portion was a thrill. It's hard to pick which part was the best - so many contenders! It's motorcycle heaven. I was really impressed with Mike's service. Originally I had planned to merely rent a bike (the BMW F800 GT) and do a self-guided tour, but I am so thankful that Mike showed me around. I am sure I wouldn't have been nearly as ambitious without his knowledge of the area - and that made all the difference. He brought the bike out to my hotel and also helped me get to the bus station on my way out. He really went the extra mile in every way to make sure my trip was smooth. The bike was in great shape and was fun to ride. I also rented a jacket and helmet, which was really nice to be able to do instead of having to pack my own. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to stay! The next time I visit Grenoble I will definitely be contacting M2 once again.
