Al Pastor tacos 5x$65 MXN ($3.25 USD, Sept. 2021)

Decent, authentic, super affordable. No beer, only waters and sodas. Nothing extraordinary, but a good value overall. Meh.

This place, in my opinion, has the beat tacos in Tulum! The tacos al pastor are on point, the green sauce is crack (I couldn't stop eating it), the "Ballena" platter was incredibly flavorful and the Horchata water is to die for. Not only was the food amazing but so was the service. This place is cash only so make sure to bring some :)

The Al Pastor is cooked on a spit in expert fashion. The tacos come out with thinly shaved, crisp, tender pork with occasional bits of fresh pineapple. The tortillas are fresh, soft, and well executed.

    El Pastor so good!

The food was fantastic. We love to try little places and this is a wonderful yummy place. We tried their El Pastor and wow! We ate upstairs and it's charming. Bright colors and all. Will definitely come back. We always love to give our business to smaller locals and this was a perfect spot.

I sampled quite a bit of the menu over the few days I spent in Tulum. Queso fundido (chorizo) (4/5) Bistek torta (4/5) Bistek quesadilla (4/5) Orden de pastor (5/5) Jamaica (5/5) I'll be searching for a similar spot state side.

2am tacos. ¡La vida es buena! We strolled into here after bar hopping; we found a seat and instantly ordered whatever we saw other patrons chowing down. Spit-fire al pastor tacos, queso fundido, tostadas... and the salsas. Super spicy!

Hands down the best tacos in Tulum

The BEST tacos in Tulum! I arrived late in Tulum around 10pm and after checking in, my first stop was Antojitos b/c I heard they stayed open until 1am and they had these amazing tacos. When we arrived they were all sold out of tacos. My friends and I walked the street looking for a late night spot. I ordered 1 taco to suppress my hunger and walked away. I took one bite and had to turn around and order more! The Pastor Tacos with the slice of pineapple changed my life. I've been dreaming about them. I went back the next day in the afternoon and they were not open yet. Heart breaking

Probably should have gotten a before pic! Alambre de al pastor, alambre de bistec, cebollas y nopales asados, queso con chorizo, horchata!

Seriously this place was awesome! We got the queso con chorizo, alambre de al pastor, alambre de bistec, cebolla y nopales asados, regular order of tacos al pastor. Comes with salsa and limes. We also ordered 2 litros de horchata! Late night din din was a success. Go!

Another great taco shop in Tulum! Super cheap and affordable My friend got 5 Al Pastor tacos for only 45 pesos. I got a plate of steak and cheese, which came with some grilled onions and cactus and a side of tortillas. So make sure you wash your hands after your order, cause you'll be very hands on with your meal. Only con is this place doesn't serve beer here, so make sure to bring some with you before you go haha or just wait till your done, and go down the street for some drinks.

This place is really good. Al pastor from the trompo is on point. I was skeptical of the low number of reviews but I am glad I went for it. Less than a dollar per taco. Jamaica is really good. I had al pastor tacos from a place with way more reviews that tasted worse than this place.

Best queso fundido. EVER. Best thing off the menu probably.
    Tiffany B.

Gah, I LOVE their queso fundido. That's about the best fundido I've ever had. You can go here JUST for that, and that alone. Cheesy, cheesy, crispy, crispy.. Their pastor tacos are just OK. Pretty mediocre, but also, I'm sure that's the authentic way. Love the homemade pulley system they have going on for the top patio. Brilliant. Toilet doesn't have a lid, so it's a pretty good squat workout to tinkle.

So fun watching him cut away! Delicious food too and the veggie dish was awesome! Definitely recommend it

The al pastor quesadilla was quite possibly the best thing I ate in Tulum! The flavors were just insane! And sooooo cheap!

Really excellent tacos across a wide range of beef and pork cuts. They dont have any chicken or…read morevegetarian options but they have about 6 beef cuts from your standard bistec or saudero to lengua, eye balls, brain, or beef cheek. They have a few more pork cuts probably 8 or so but I dont eat pork so I cant really comment. The tacos were dirrrrrt cheap. Everyone clocked in at under $1US. Most tacos were $12pesos and 3 or 4 were $15 pesos each. The corn tortillas were fresh and meat was piled on with cilantro and onions. At the table there is a selection of 4 salsas limes, and pickled onions. They were all good but be warned they are spicy as hell. The waiter said two were spicy and 2 were a little spicy, but in reality 1 nearing blow your palate out spicy, another was drink a mouthful of milk spicy, 1 was couple gulps of water spicy and the 4th was actually not spicy. Definitely the spiciest offerings I have ever seen. Everything had serious heat. I loved it but i even caught myself ordering a couple extra drinks and taking a break. The tacos are good any way you have them just be careful. The meat in the tacos was really good. You always tell the value of a taqueria by how they cook their lengua or other easily ruined cuts. The lengua were very good not chewy or slimy, although I wish it was cooked on slightly higher heat to get that caramelization on the outside. The saudero wasnt the best ive had in Mexico but still really good. Bistec was banging. Beef cheek was mild and tbh it was the last taco I ate and I have dump so much hot sauce on the pervious tacos my taste buds werent in the best of conditions. The interior was standard taqueria, an open kitchen, a couple plastic tables, and doubled up red plastic chairs a big ol' fan in the corner and a handful or sidewalk seating. Its local favorite and now a favorite of mine as well!

Super cheap tacos right next to the ADO. I ordered the Al pastor and it comes with a slice of…read morepineapple which I found as a nice touch. Our server was super friendly and when it started to drizzle he immediately help us move in from the patio inside. Would definitely stop by here!
