I hesitate to tell anyone about this amazing 6 table restaurant hiding behind the curtain in the back of a fish market. Only locals were here. It's run by a husband and wife team. He will take your order; she is in the back cooking. This is a regular place for my local cousin.
We started with a platter of lightly fried seafood delicacies. A whole triglia (mullet), merluzzo (cod) slice, shrimp-like crustaceans, squid rings and tentacles,
Then for the pasta I had a penne to die for. It had chunks of fish, cherry tomatoes, and penne.
Next was a whole fish and more crustaceans. Pauro (Shona) was the fresh fish that he filleted for us.
They also do sushi once a week?
