I'd imagine the piece of meat hanging next to that heat lamp should be keeping it warm. Maybe not? Haven't gotten it in a while, anyway. Kind of hard to spot this place if you have never been. It's behind the Zen restaurant, or whatever restaurant name it's changed to because it's been called 3 different names in the past couple years. Plenty of parking once you find it. At Dragon's, the owner also works as the cashier, and the checkout experience felt tense and uncomfortable. The woman working Saturday night the 15th shift was particularly unprofessional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning under any circumstances. The Skinny Vietnamese lady, I think she's also the owner. She is significantly friendlier and more welcoming than the rest of the staff. Despite working very hard, she still treats every customer kindly and respectfully. That is what true leadership looks like. The team could benefit from following her example.

First I had lunch in the food court. You know what they say, don't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach! I went up and down every isle. I mostly bought international snacks, like chips, choco pies and croissants. Other purchases included Thai tea bags, jackfruit and a black pepper sauce. I love Thai tea and wanted to be able to stay home and make it instead of going to a restaurant. And bonus, it will save me money too! I also purchased some green peppermint tea and snacks to take to a friend. They were setting up for the second Saturday night market in the parking lot which includes authentic food from the Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It was right under my nose. It is adjacent to the sandwich shop on Beach Blvd. I frequent weekly. The store is larger than expected. I craved crystal tea and I knew the brand name which is Prince of Peace. Just a side bar, please know what you are looking in an Asian store. Everything was nicely stocked and appealing but I could not tell A from Z. I finally asked the manager or the cashier where to find crystal teas. There was not a big selection. Hell, there was only one selection. I grabbed my ginger honey Crystal tea to go. In the package, there are 10 sachets for just under $3! What a bargain! I proceeded to the register and asked if there were other selections. She was curt and to the point, "whatever we have there." She was pleasant but not to the point of being rude. I got my tea. Will I give up coffee? Maybe for a week or two or until I get a coffee headache . To me, this is one of the few Asian stores for my crystal tea. I am sure crystal tea can be brought on line but I am an old school kinda guy who likes going up and down the aisle to literally.
