Sorry to say - more negative than positive.
But let's start with the positive.
We had no reservation and the lady at the reception was very friendly and managed to get us a table at the outside terrace.
As the name of the restaurant might imply, it's a Spanish restaurant, their wine menus with Spanish wines is huge and good.
Unfortunately that's about everything positive.
We ordered Patata Brava, it came in a different way than expected. It was topped with a greasy white cream. The ream had no taste. We also ordered crispy bread with tomato. The bread was cold and soggy.
The last starter was a suckling pick with spicy mango chutney. OK the suckling pig was soft and juicy but somehow they missed to add the mango chutney either into the meat or as a side dish.
After that we were ready for the main dish.
So just to add this place is even for Hong Kong standards not cheap. So I would expect sone service, but we had to remind the staff that it would be good getting lean cutlery and plates for the main dish.
The main dish was red Prawns with squid ink and clams. This dish was actually nice.
The squid was a little bid bland.
We than planned to have a dessert, they have an ice cream which they prepare at the table. ( vanilla ice made with nitro). But for some reason it's only on the menu, they actually don't have it for the dinner sessions.
Ok - that have a dinner menu and don't show things you don't have.
Honestly in a competitive restaurant market like Hong Kong, you will find better places for less money. read more
