Smoke detector hanging off the wall

First the room describe was not the room I got. I called before I booked to confirm and was told that is the room I was booking for. As I am disabled and cannot step into tubs. it is a limitless higher than normal tubs. We tired to call the front desk after getting to our room the room phone does not work. Had to call from my cell. it would a up charge for the room I wanted. so we decide I would try this room because my wife was very tired and we just left a funeral. the tub was a whirlpool type so my wife could enjoy that. It did not work at all. The hair dryer also did not work. The pool was close. This is a holiday weekend. Could not sleep because someone was smoking in the next room. Our smoke detector was hanging off the wall also. pictures taken and advised the staff.

Look mom no locks between rooms. Safety first

Traveling for work or pleasure - this is your best option to get killed in your sleep. Sadly the door lock between the adjoining rooms is broken - don't worry how about a rubber stopper. The owner is on vacation - I pray staying at a safe hotel and the assistant won't answer his phone even after being called by the hotel. Sadly all hotels are sold out so this is my only option. So if you are looking for a very unsafe room and the potential to be killed I highly suggest this hotel.

Okay, where do I start... Well first, let me say I stayed here for a business trip. I was booked for a one week stay. So let me start with day one. When I first arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and waterfall feature in the lobby. Also, the staff seemed very nice. However, I was horrified when I first woke up, the next morning, to a roach on my night stand. Later, I became terrified to learn that I had slept in a room all night with a door that had a broken lock. I only learned this after I closed the door to leave the following morning and instinctively went to check to make sure it was lock and it came right open. I immediately reported this to the front desk and was told that as soon as management and maintenance came in at 8 am, they would handle it. I couldn't stay around and wait for them because I had to report to my job by 7 am. However, when I went back during my lunch break, my door was still not repaired. So not only, had I slept in an unsecured room all night, my things were further left unsecured for an additional 4 hours. I immediately called down to the front desk, after just walking in my room without having to use a key, and once again asking that my door be repaired immediately or that I be moved to another room. At that point, a gentleman from the maintenance department came up and fixed the door. He also offered to spray my room with bug spray. I was hoping I would not have any additional issues and thankfully I did not!! The breakfast was great! The breakfast staff was friendly and kept the area clean. The rest of my stay went off without a hitch oh and I did not get anymore nonpaying roommates!!

    Mold in the bathroom.

I stayed here twice, and we enjoyed it. It is very clean and fresh. The front desk was nice and we were able to check in and out quickly

I then was charged 4 times on my card. I called hotel and again and spoke with Eva. She stated that she remembered me cancelling and would fix it. She was very kind and I felt better. Once the GE got involved she completely changed her story and flat out lied. She stated I did not cancel. I have the record of my phone call and luckily recorded Eva apologizing to me and stating she would fix her mistake. I am disputing this with my bank and then Will see them in court. The peloton in the gym doesn't connect to anything. Okay annoying but maybe there's a connection issue. Then the water fountain in the gym doesn't work.... Okay again not a big deal the front desk gave me a water bottle. This is where things get UNSAFE though. The iron cord doesn't fit in the outlets in the room, causing sparks and a very lose connection. And the deadbolt in my room didn't actually work. Based on other reviews on here I'm afraid to lodge a formal complaint, since I travel to the area for work and there are only a limited number of hotels. I don't plan to stay here again but if the others are fully booked I'll need a back up option.

We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. There are also some donkeys and horses on property who love to get their heads scratched.

I was offered but declined and now I regret it so much! Planning on going back with my husband when we can eat dinner as well! Can't wait!

Our second stop was at the Quality Inn in Madison GA, also a good motel, but on our return north, we decided to alter our daily travel this time and stopped for the night at the Quality Inn in Dublin GA. This was our first time there, and we were satisfied with it. It appeared clean and was comfortable, which is all we want from an overnight motel stay. And breakfast the following morning was very good with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, sweet rolls, cereal and yogurt. Desk clerk was very friendly and suggested dinner at a nearby restaurant called the Pickle Barrel. I've reviewed it in a separate post.

It was a pretty nice place, but had a weird smell. At first I thought it was tolerable. Once I returned home, my luggage and clothing reeked so terribly that I had to wash them in Tide hygienic ultra pods twice. So as a Marriott girl, I came here. Not sure all the hate. When I checked in, they automatically addressed my ambassador status (which I don't care about, but just putting it out there). I got upgraded from a regular king room to a king suite, which has a lot more room and is really nice for a longer stay like mine (seven days). I got a free water as an ambassador. The room is clean, the bed is firm, but decent. The room doesn't smell terrible. Could use a little more storage space (only two full sized drawers). Located near several chain restaurants and about four miles from Main Street for some smaller local places. I think this is probably gonna be worth the drive.
