Ice bucket and cup tray w/ pubic hair

Most hotels leave chocolates on the pillow for customers. This hotel leaves pubic hairs. I could write out everything that was wrong but my first two sentences say it all.

    Flakey bed bug fecal matter.

If I could give this no stars believe me I would. Upon arrival the clerk was attentive enough and gave us a room. We gave the room a one over and it seemed presentable enough. The shower looked old and rusty. There were a few stains on the mattress which is going to happen at any hotel so that wasn't a deal breaker. There was even a cute little chair in the corner. We thought it wasn't too bad so we decided to stay. The next morning u woke up and there were three bites on my arm. I pulled the sheets off the bed to find trails of black flakey residue at the top of the fitted sheet and down the left side of the bed. More stains down the mattress itself. We scoured both beds and found the same thing. The markings on the sheets indicate bed bugs. 3 bites would indicate at least one. Upon bringing this to the clerks attention she did not seem the least bit surprised and simply stated that she's have the exterminator out to look it over in the mean time she'd personally look at the room herself after she checked us out. She also informed us that we would receive a phone call from her general manager that day or the following morning. She apologized for the inconvenience. She then scurried off while we had a bit of their breakfast (which was the highlight of the stay, they have a waffle maker). When she returned she looked horrified. It was blatantly obvious that she had seen what we were afraid of. Bed bugs. She avoided us entirely. Any time we'd make eye contact she'd look down and away, doing her best to avoid any eye contact or run off to the back. We never received a phone call. It has now been 23 days since our stay and nothing. So we called and were told that the general manager comes in at 9:30 in the morning and that would be the best time to reach him. So I called back at 9:51am giving him enough time to settle and do what needs to be done. Apparently 21 minutes was too long to wait because he had "already gone for the day" when I called. So I spoke to the front deck clerk. She was very nice under the circumstances. She said the records indicate that the exterminator found no traces of bed bugs and that I may have been bitten by something else. That may be the case but I know based on what I've seen in that room, they have bed bugs and are trying to cover it up. They have put us in danger of carrying them with us on the rest of our journey or to our homes. Not to mention the fact that bed bugs can spread diseases. My tip to you is, for the safety and the sanity of your family and loved ones don't stay here or at any Quality Inns. They obviously have no regard for the people who stay here.

Pretty much sums up their desire for this to be a good location with decent rooms...or lack thereof

I then was charged 4 times on my card. I called hotel and again and spoke with Eva. She stated that she remembered me cancelling and would fix it. She was very kind and I felt better. Once the GE got involved she completely changed her story and flat out lied. She stated I did not cancel. I have the record of my phone call and luckily recorded Eva apologizing to me and stating she would fix her mistake. I am disputing this with my bank and then Will see them in court. Phil Patel the manager/owner was no help at all. They lost a lot of business with us. As we travel there regularly for softball tournaments.

The peloton in the gym doesn't connect to anything. Okay annoying but maybe there's a connection issue. Then the water fountain in the gym doesn't work.... Okay again not a big deal the front desk gave me a water bottle. This is where things get UNSAFE though. The iron cord doesn't fit in the outlets in the room, causing sparks and a very lose connection. And the deadbolt in my room didn't actually work. Based on other reviews on here I'm afraid to lodge a formal complaint, since I travel to the area for work and there are only a limited number of hotels. I don't plan to stay here again but if the others are fully booked I'll need a back up option.

So glad we did!…read more The hosts were amazing and fit us in at the last minute when we found out there was a restaurant on-prem. We were seated at 7pm and both the service and food were amazing. We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. There are also some donkeys and horses on property who love to get their heads scratched.

I was offered but declined and now I regret it so much! Planning on going back with my husband when we can eat dinner as well! Can't wait!

It was a pretty nice place, but had a weird smell. At first I thought it was tolerable. Once I returned home, my luggage and clothing reeked so terribly that I had to wash them in Tide hygienic ultra pods twice. So as a Marriott girl, I came here. Not sure all the hate. When I checked in, they automatically addressed my ambassador status (which I don't care about, but just putting it out there). I got upgraded from a regular king room to a king suite, which has a lot more room and is really nice for a longer stay like mine (seven days). I got a free water as an ambassador. The room is clean, the bed is firm, but decent. The room doesn't smell terrible. Could use a little more storage space (only two full sized drawers). Located near several chain restaurants and about four miles from Main Street for some smaller local places. I think this is probably gonna be worth the drive.

They would not move me to another room and kept telling me every day the parts were ordered to fix it. The manager, Cynthia was a total rude ass. Never recommend this hotel to anyone. They were simply left hanging over the edge of the trash can for me to do it myself. Completely unacceptable!
