I seriously wished I had taken a photos of my PORK PAPUSA I had eaten there a moment ago. But I was so damn hungry I just devoured the damn meal. So after my anniversary errands I had ran today i literally was craving something I never eaten before....back then around this area I used to visit my loved one whom I cared deeply for before her passing last year... Now the idea of eating arepas literally kept flooding my mind like a flash flood notification... but the sad part is that this establishment didn't have Arepas... BUT I WAS greeted by an awesome professional staff and was blessed with the alternative of eating a Papusa....So the entire dining area is extremely huge to fit a wedding party. It's tidy and comfortable for sure. The staff are definitely welcoming, professional and friendly. The bathroom was most definitely clean. My pork papusa was served to me FRESH, made to order immediately. It wasn't just blasted in the microwave, this was cooked to perfection for my first time. The condiments was a hot sauce and pickled red onions. Overall my dine In experience at this restaurant was good ! I most definitely see myself gathering a group and heading down Broadway to check out this spot once more. Please support the locals. read more

Service was terrible. So disappointed on how the staff treats paying customers with an attitude and disrespect. Food was cold not even warm/hot. read more

It was a hot and steamy night and i was hungry, it was either white castle , taco truck or pupusa loca. While the service lacks a bit, almost 20 minutes to get our food, it seem to me that it was because the restaurant got packed real fast for a Tuesday night and only 1 waitress. The food is delicious and cheap. The Horchata Juice is one of the most refreshing drinks i had in a while. I ordered el Plato Tipico, it comes with a fresh tamal, 2 tacos and 1 chicharon pupusa adorned with their colorful coleslaw. The flavor was so delicious, im going back for more. the decor of the place...stop there, no decor, just tables packed tight, flat screens and everyone staring at the Spanish soap operas (novelas). You will know the name when you drive by because of the old neon signs, blue painted facade inside and out. Be prepared, the girl that serves you is new and bare speaks English but you can point tot the item on the menu and its in English. IM a fan because of the price and flavor of the food. read more

I got their fried tacos and pupusas to go. I didn't love my pupusas but maybe it was because I didn't eat it right away. However, the fried tacos which I did eat right away were truly incredible. Food is made fresh so be prepared to wait. I look forward to going back when nearby again. read more

Personally coming from a SALVADORAN THIS IS A DISGRACE the Pupusas are more flour than meat or cheese and they taste as if they were frozen and reheated. Try anything else but the Pupusas.....shrimp is good ‍ read more

Slow food but very good food. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite places to eat in Yonkers.

Make sure you check your bill (and double check) to make sure they're not adding on bogus crap. Third time I've gone there and I've been sneakily charged for stuff. I've been a customer for over 20 years and it's disgusting that I have to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. God only knows how many times they've done it and I didn't notice. To add insult to injury, I got violently ill afterwards. Not even worth going anymore. BEWARE!!! read more

I love pupusas and this place gets them right every time. Not only that, their other Salvadoran dishes are delicious and their curtido is a must try! read more

4:45pm my boyfriend orders food. 7pm STILL no food delivered! My boyfriend calls and the lady who answer gave him an attitude. 7:15pm food is finally here! Open the bag we had food missing. Called back and complaint about it. They said they were going to send out the food. It 8:30 and NOTHING. We called back and a guy answer he laughed at my boyfriend and hung up. NEVER again we are spending our hard working money here. Another thing I noticed when I go eat over there they tend to attend the guys that probably go there often to eat and not even bother to ask us how the food or if we would like another drink. I used to love this place. But now I hate it! I hate EVERYTHING about it even the food! The pupusa has no meat. It's like eating a tortilla. Again food is just bad! Big waste of money! I highly don't recommend it! read more

What a horrible experience! I just ate their this past week. Where should I start: 1. Service : very unfriendly. Took a while for to take our order. We had to seat ourselves 2. Food: Buffet old flavorless food and not enough. No variety. Pupusa: the reason I went there was old and nasty. Tasted like old burnt flour. Very unsatisfied. I would not recommend or try again. For decent pupusas I rather go to a farther to La Esquina Salvadorian in New Rochelle. A reliable and hospitale place. read more

Upon going in person with my little family, it was nice since they have expanded. They took over what used to be Panchito. Any ol' who, today we decided to order for delivery since the craving of pupusas was there. At 7:02pm we called for delivery. They came at 8:35pm. We literally live like 10 minutes or less from them so it should not have taken this long PLUS we only ordered some 5 pupusas plus a plate of "pollo asado con ajo". Apparently we were called back because they had run out of POLLO and can only give us "PECHUGA". We said that was fine since we really wanted the pollo asado. The order total was $20.65. When the delivery guy arrived, we were charged $23.40!!! Apparently, it was more because of the replacement of "POLLO" with "PECHUGA". The lady over the phone never told us it would cost us more. If anything, we would have just cancelled that meal and just wanted the pupusas. $3 extra for 3 chicken breasts versus a half a chicken? I am beyond myself right now. We had to chip in $4 more dollars for tip. It was just a pathetic situation and we never plan on ordering for delivery ever again. We will stick with going in person. read more

Great inexpensive place to come and devour all their food! My mother and I had pupusas, riguas, caldo de res, mariscada, and homemade tortillas for just $40. My mariscada wasn't the best but the size of the lobster compensated for it- we both had enough lobster meat (out of one lobster!) Mother loved her caldo de res, which says a lot since she's really passionate about food. The only downside to this place is that they let a man come in and ask for money which is quite uncomfortable but they do have a huge flat-screen TV to watch the soccer game. read more

Loved it. Came here with my friend and had some great pupusas de frijol.

Their current address is 285 just a few stores down. First time here . The place is pleasant and family oriented. I had popusas and they were yummy. Staff is really friendly as well. Will be back. read more

My family and I have been going here for over 10 years. They recently moved a few businesses over, I miss the home-iness of the old establishment, but love that they now have a party hall and private area. The food is always delicious, and taste like home cooked Central American food. My faves are; pupusas revueltas, carne asada, sopa de res, and the horchata. Btw, the waitresses are wonderful too. read more

Normally I do take out for the family but this time I decided to dine in. The negative is First you have to seat yourself to a table and Second waitress doesn't know English (must point to what you want from the menu ) and Three the service sucks (I had 3 waitresses attend to my table.) The food was delicious (ordered Pupusas) but the other food we ordered didn't come out together with whatever else we ordered. Plus it's too loud maybe because the soccer game was on Costa Rica Vs Holland. Next time I will do take out and pick it up myself. Will never dine in. read more

Sadly I love my salvadorian food but today I called this place twice and a retarted woman picked up my phone call who did not know the area she worked in and also hung up twice on me when I was putting a big order in sadly this is poor service in my opinion as the place is losing money and I would highly recommend they put someone on the phone that knows how to be professional and can actually take an order. Of course I took my business elsewhere and spent my 70 bucks in La Cabana near 200 and grand concourse in the Bronx a place where the food is decent and people actually know how to answer a phone call correctly. I asked the person about a business in front of where she works she responded with an attitude with the address of the venue unfortunately that person should not be working picking up the phone maybe washing the dishes. read more

Pupusas and Tamal de Elote are just the perfect combo for me. I always order the same and I am always very satisfied. The place is not the greatest inside, the decor has lots of mirrors, but this is not the place to go with a nice decor, this place you sit down and watch spanish soap operas with your meal =) read more

The food is good but the customer service kills this place! I've eaten in and it takes for ever to get someone to come over and take your order or get you the check. I've ordered for pick up and when I've shown up they never put the order in. I ordered for delivery and it took over an hour to get to my house. Lesson learned everything is a long waiting game in this place. I've given them many chances hoping it was just that one time but no they suck. read more

best everrrrrrr! The Pupusa of Chicharron and cheese is my absolute favorite. No offense to non Spanish speakers but it's hard because everyone speaks mostly Spanish. I love their seafood soup which is a whopping $17 for an entire lobster, shrimp, clams, fish with a touch of cream. Not creamy consistency just full of flavor! read more

Haven't been here in over a decade. Finally back, and not so impressed. The food is great but the service is subpar. The place opens at 1000 and the employees didn't show until 5-10 after. Not too big of a deal normally but they were literally opening the place up. Lights out, chairs on tables, kitchens cold, the whole nine. I had some food, a drink and some water. I finished both drinks and it took about 15 minutes before our server came back and asked if I wanted another drink. There were only 2 other tables being served btw. As I said, food is great but unimpressed with the service. read more

I've eaten here many times but this is the last time I ever spend my money at this place. I placed a delivery order and when I received it, they had messed up the largest part of the order. I called to see if they would fix it and I was given the biggest attitude and I was passed on to the manager. He said he couldn't help me and hung up on me. I'm still shocked at their lack of courtesy. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Out of the few Pupusa spots within westchester, this is one of my favorites. Their pupusas are good and I've been eating here a few years now. Restaurant is clean too. Food is inexpensive and the pupusas are a good size. Whoever posted the picture about the bathroom, the bathrooms are in stalls now so that's no longer an issue. read more

Best pupusas ever! Get the cheese and they're delicious. The ones that have chicharon too. Tamale de elote is great and the cream too

I've been craving pupusas for months and so was my sister who is pregnant. We decided to go with the kids before heading to the movies and let me just say that it was very unfriendly! We had to grab menus for ourselves and sit wherever we wanted because they didn't greet us. We ordered our drinks which came out in less than 10mins which was okay until we ordered our food. I have ordered from here before and it never took as long as it did yesterday. We waited 45 mins for our food and didn't even get some kind of curtesy to let us know that it was going to be running late. Mind you there were people arriving after us that were already getting their food. The food wasn't even pleasant I honestly felt like walking out. I was very unhappy with the pupusas and the horchata drink I ordered. I didn't want to leave a tip because the waitress could've at least been nicer but of course my sister left her a tip. I've never been so mad to pay $40 for the food we had. Which the kids could barely even finish. I don't think I'll be coming back after this kind of service. Wish I could give half of 1 star because they don't even deserve one. read more

This place is great. It's super clean and staff are attentive. The food is ver good and tastes authentic! So far it's my favorite Central American place in this area. This isn't bias, I'm not even central American. The one thing I would say is that it would be nice to have an English fluent waitress since my Spanish isn't great. But they are friendly and patient enough to get the order right anyway. The food really is yummy here. read more
