I also came here a bunch of times to buy fabric for school dances/recitals/plays all of that fun stuff. They have tons of fabrics here, and they're good quality too. It's rather small in comparison to the other fabric stores around the city, but what matters here is quality not quantity. Another good thing about Telas Costa Azul is that it's a one-stop-shop for making dresses. I'm not that familiar with the actual names of the things you need, but things like string, patterns, pads, etc. You also have the option of purchasing an entire roll of fabric (for large parties.... or a reaaallly big puffy dress) They are open monday through sunday which is amazingly convenient. Their hours do vary though, so make sure you check out the times or give them a call to make sure they're open when you come.

I called before I went and was quoted a price so I headed down. Threads is a good distance from my house but I had seen something about them on instagram and wanted to check it out. The store is full of beautiful fabrics and lots of samples. They have what you're looking for or they can order it. The person on the phone and the person who rang me up were very helpful and kind. My purchase was easy and my fabric should be delivered to my house in a couple weeks. Parking is on the street but there is a lot a little walk to the north. The shop is very cute and creatively arranged. It's close to Costco on Morena. If you're looking for fabric or wallpaper you should stop by. You won't be disappointed.
