Parking is DIFFICULT AT THIS HOTEL! The hotel parking lot is up the hill and you must drive through very tiny streets. If you have a nice car- it could get scratched and I would avoid this faux three star hotel at all costs but only fir this reason. When we areived as discussed with the front desk- who knew we were DRIVING IN LATE- we could not enter parking because they Forgot to code the key with the correct parking lot. They forced us to pay the 40£ ticket and it was pretty unacceptable as their front desk closes at 9pm for a HOTEL? What?!! And ...They actually told us it was OUR FAULT I want to be clear- other this issue- the hotel is well located and clean. The rooms have lake views and are a little small if you have alot of bags- but very efficient. The breakfast and staff attempt to help but they are burdened by the parking issue. I hope in the future the hotel will be clear about how difficult this could be for a foreign person and that the police coild be helpful and not predatory. We got ip at 6am to ask the front desk what to do but the police had ticked us at 2am.

I spent five hot summer days trekking the Italian Alps and sampling gelatos in the little towns…read morebelow them in search for the one that would blow me away. Finally, on the fifth day, the Gods of Gelato bestowed their graciousness upon me and showed me the not only the most delicious, but ironically also the cheapest gelato I've had during my entire five day search. For a mere 3.50, my L size cup was stuffed with ice cream in such a generous huge pile that my ice cream towered above the rim just like the lovely Mt.Cervino watching over this entire village. The gelato had the taste and consistency of gods' ambrosia, just like they make them at their best in Italy. It was so sumptuously creamy and thick that even in the extreme summer heat, you could take all the time you wanted admiring the pile of goodness in front of you, and not a bit of it would melt away. My pistachio flavor perfectly captured the essence of fresh yummy pistachios, and the cream flavor was just pure creamy heaven, not too sweet, but melting your taste buds away with its velvety smoothness. My sampling partner shared the burst of joy I experienced over this gelato. We wish we could come back again. For summer days, this place has a spacious outdoor seating where you can have your own little fangirl moment over this ice cream like we did.
