We absolutely loved this spot. The best meal we had in Puebla and I highly recommend - just be prepared as it's cash only and you may want extra cash as they sell mole and rompope, and some vendors may come by - we bought some local vanilla as well.
The service is extremely friendly and started us off with a sample of the mole on some chips. The mole here is EXCELLENT- and if you've never had mole Poblana, it's sweeter than other moles. This particular one was delicious and we had it on a platter with carne asada, chalupas, frijoles, arroz, and an enchilada. We also had the Chile en nogada and it was delicious! I highly recommend splitting both dishes among your table.
We finished with the flan with rompope. I had considered peaches with rompope and our server was nice enough to add peaches when I ordered the flan instead. Great service!
We also had a yummy agua de jamaica as a drink and delicious bread.
Highly recommend this spot, you won't leave disappointed. read more
