Stopped here for lunch after visiting the cathedral. So glad we did. Had the Galette de jour, which was a plain Galette, covered with salade, frites et croque Monsieur. The croque Monsieur was the best I've had since I've been in France. Thin bread fried in butter and so crispy. Fries were good by French standards and the salad was outstanding. We stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the Cathedral. I picked the place based on Rick Steve's' recommendation. I ordered the Galette du jour and my daughter ordered the Breizh burger. Both were delicious! I would return to try more of their food but we were only in Chartres for 1 day. We sat outside with a great view of the Cathedral. It was windy at time but I did not mind it at all. Great service (friendly waiter), great location and great food. Highly recommended. read more

We stopped here on a cold March day and had delicious food. The menu is large with every kind of crepe you can imagine. They have menus in English as well as French. The decor is clean and somewhat modern. We had several of the crepes, all of which were great. We also had onion soup, Caesar salad and the chèvre salad. Nice place, but the waiter with the square glasses is unbearably lordly. Wouldn't go this place if this guy is there again. Except that, good place. And so funny to hear the waiter saying in French (about coffee): "Les américains boivent que du jus de chaussette" (Americans only drink socks juice = super watery coffee). But they have decent espresso though. read more

Delicious, decided to go off the menu and not take the day's special, somehow a spaghetti buckwheat crepe did not sound great. The menu offers salads many different crepes and open face sandwiches called "croûtes." What they do they do well but if you are looking for a menu with more choices, this place is not for you. That being said our lunch and service was outstanding. read more

Friendly and busy restaurant with nice service. The place is two steps from the famous cathedral Notre Dame de Chartres. Good selection of galettes, crepes and other dishes. We tried various galetteries and creperies in different cities of North France and must say their galettes and crepes were very delicious, with a pretty big and tasty selection we didn't find elsewhere. Waiters were friendly and fast, didn't rush us even if we ended up to be the last customers in the restaurant. Galette prices goes from 6 to 13 € for the most rich of ingredients, crepes up to 10 €. read more

I went to this restaurant as part of a high school trip to Europe in 2007. 5 years later, this is the only restaurant I remember by name because it was just that good. The crepes were amazing and we had the best waiter of all time - we even took a picture with him.
