This is a chippy so no prawn cocktail or scampi, just fantastic fish and chips. Queues outside prove the popularity - prepare to wait, especially on a Saturday night. We drive through from the Glasgow area, (2 hour drive) get a fish supper and sit on the shore walls looking out to sea in the most picturesque surroundings (and we don't have to dodge the seagulls).

We decided to share their regular fish and chips with a side of beans and complimentary tea (or coffee). Food didn't take too long to come out and the portion size is large so the two of us were able to share the plate. It all looks lovely but the food was just ok. I had to douse the fish in vinegar and tartar sauce to pull any flavor out of it. The beans were like your normal baked beans but just not that great and the fries were probably the best part and even those were a bit dry.
