The scone was fluffy and savory and delicious. The béchamel, I don't even know what they did to it but it was so flavorful and complimented the scone perfectly. I think there were some chopped up chives in the sauce, maybe, I don't know. All I know is yummmm. We also ordered the 3 cheese platter. Basically you go up to the front and choose any 3 cheeses you like then they will serve it to you along with home made oat cakes, scones, grapes and chutney. We selected the Brie, Ansther red, and the apricot Stilton. They were all delicious but particularly the Brie. It tasted so fresh and like actual milk. The best part of this trip was sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and amazing view.

But they are just far too aldente with the french beans on visit one. After saying twice that the needed to be cooked more (served rock hard to us) we used the microwave to blast them. They did however take the beans off the bill and apoligised. Lovely wee gift shop full of delightful and dainty gifts. The deli is just as good and stocks the beer from the microbrewery much to the hubbies delight.

The brownie is decadent, rich and with the right amount of crunch & gooey ratio. Scotch egg was yum, sausage roll got the thumbs up. Much cheese was bought and consumed. They have my fave (Comte) which was a super added bonus. Great place to stop for a bite and a wander around. Try not to miss the Brewery tours like we did... (gives us a reason to go back!). Don't be afraid to ask for tasters of the beers, grab a pint and sit on a comfy couch to enjoy it! If only I had a car... I'd totally be back.. but I'm sure I'll find a way to return.. somehow!

Though I have to admit at times it can be a tinsy bit pricey for those on the budget.... but its so cute and has so many imports you can't find in St. Andrews that the premium is worth it. They have my favourite type of Amaretti cookies which I was super excited about! But I have to say I couldn't afford their Truffle oil (go to Morrisons, they have it too... and cheap but probably not the same quality as the Little Italian Shop). When my parents where visiting we came here and got some cheese and pasta and pesto sauce (and wine of course) and made a meal from this place. And (don't hate me for mentioning it again) but the shop is just so cute that I can't help but love it! Sometimes I get a little worried though when I walk by and I don't see anyone inside.... Personally I thought this to be a bit overpriced as the Hot Chocolate was served in a regular cup and the cake a bit dry. Having said this, I loved the milky Hot Chocolate and it would be fab to see it served in a mug. I also noticed that in the evening the place might convert into a bar and saw all the various cocktails on their drink list: Mojito, long island tea....the typical cocktail list! Besides individual glasses they also offer cocktail jugs from £16 upwards. I think that's definitely worth trying out! The staff is really friendly. Not sure if they have toilets.
