Our dog have white gum and weak and always sleep , we took her emergency hospital , they Can't do anything for help her , this hospital just only want us to euthanasia medication for her . We decide bring her back home . We call LA pet clinic for help her . Doctor Reina recommended us to do blood transfusions. After treatment she 's so healthy cheerful , Omg ! We 're very very happy . It's look like a big miracle for us . Our daughter pass back for death . Thank you so much Dr. Reina bring her life back .

Ask the Community - LA Pet Clinic

How much for first time consultation or exam in need of an affordable pet clinic, my 9 year old dog sleeps al lady dsnt eat or poop just pees I'm concerned?

Someone answered on here an exam was $38 in 2019. PLEASE RUSH and take your baby to a vet!! Not eating, constipation and lethargy are NOT good. I would even go to ER!

    You guys accept walk ins?

    No longer accepting new patients

How much is it for an exam? What would the cost be for my cat to have 5 teeth extracted?

I can't answer about the tooth extractions, but I was just there yesterday and an exam is currently $38.

Instead, the information was repeatedly relayed through front desk staff and a manager, who simply restated an email without offering any real clarification. When I tried to ask follow-up questions, the responses felt rushed and dismissive rather than helpful. Let that sync in and check your attitude before making a call with an administrative title and an entitled tone. :) There was also confusion about pricing: I was originally told that my dog's nail clipping was complimentary, but when I called back to pay, I was told that wasn't true and given a price instead. As a devoted pet owner, clear and empathetic communication matters  - especially when discussing medical results and unfortunately that was missing here. That said, I do want to give five stars to one staff member who was warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Her professionalism and empathy did not go unnoticed. She's full of energy and has great vibes and speaking to her on the phone was clear and knew how to direct my questions - no back and forth and she had a really cool name. :)

One thing I will say is getting my dog back was hell. I called ahead of time to let them know I want her back, waited there for an hour. Mind you she is my service dog and she was screaming in the back the entire time. Yet, the staff told me to wait.. they were busy.. Yessi one of the vet techs even came out and basically yelled at me in front of people in the lobby. Again, they have my service dog in the back who's stressing and not working and I'm stressing and probably need her to work because I was actually in medical emergency. I ended up going to the emergency room myself that night for the day I had.. I digress.. eventually the manager came out with my dog and apologized for not bringing her out sooner since she is a working dog but the damage was done. I am very grateful for the vet at mash and i am torn that it ended in Chaos.. Getting my dogs test results emailed to me was also hell, I was told they will only give it to another vet.. very very odd behavior. My dog, my money for the test and I had to basically pry it from them.. I don't understand what happened after I wanted my dog back that made them make everything a mess but..still.. If you're here trying to figure out if you should bring your pet here, yes. I recommend them. They will be honest and save your pet.. at a high price.. Maybe that whole day wasn't my day. Maybe that's the price I paid to get honest answers and to be told my dogs not gonna die. Either way, the vet was honest and that is more than we can ask for these days when it comes to vet care. PS: HUGE thank you to Bella who kept me grounded as much as she could .. you're an angel. And I will never forget your kindness. MASH is incredibly lucky to have an angel out in the lobby, to save lives she didn't even know she's saving.

And I was happy.. as I'd taken my dog there for a few emergencies and while I cant say that the customer experience was outstanding given the nature of any er visit that involves wait time, case being disregarded or downplayed, and sticker shock - the front desk had been quite accomodating. Then they hired more of these gen-zers at the front desk who just dont give an eff.. for example I was waiting 2 hrs to get an update. Just and update. Like what is going on with my dog. I followed up after 30 minutes, she went to check came back to me in 20 and said someone is gonna come update you soon. I waited another 20 minutes, asked again -- same exact answer from the same exact lady and in 10 or 15 more minutes I stormed towards the area where they keep the dogs and that same madame goes you cant go in there. i exploded on her and demanded they get me my my dog right now. turned out they heavily sedated him without my consent to give him the medicine. he could not walk and looked sleepy for hours. I understand that my dog can be difficult but.. a. consent. b. tell me what's going on! i could have just went home and came back when he was ready if the lady did her job instead of gossiping and laughing with her coworkers. I can understand and forgive many circumstances but this isnt the way to keep the repeat business. our insurance carrier paid about 15k for a few visits. I also saw a poor old lady who was charged 5k to diagnose her dying cat and I had to translate for her. No matter how much I tried to help they wouldnt budge. She couldnt believe that. That was her 2 social security checks. She weeped, she cursed them and threw the credit card at. This kind of treatment deserves the hottest chamber in hell, and I genuinely hope they shut down in the most humiliating way.

Dr. Goodman was extremely thorough and took the time to clearly explain my dog's diagnosis and treatment plan, while also providing additional care options. She interrupted me rudely and said, "I'm not the one you spoke to," when all I was trying to do was get copies of my dog's records. I spent almost $1,700 here for my dog's pneumonia treatment, and unfortunately it did not help at all. They kept my dog for 5 hours, and after everything, I still had to bring her to a different hospital so she could get proper care. There was also a problem with my dog's prescription. They prescribed a medication that wasn't even available until Monday. I was honestly willing to let that pass because I understand things happen, but the rude attitude from the receptionist was too much. I understand vet hospitals can get busy, but clients who are worried about their pets deserve compassion, professionalism, and proper communication -- especially after spending that much money. Very disappointed with both the service and the overall experience.

Recently brought one of our dogs here for a serious issue. We never even saw the doctor, only spoke to them through a phone call even though we were at the office. After speaking to the doctor, the assistant presented the estimate very matter of factly. We declined one of the procedures. 3 hours later when it was time to pay they tried to charge us for the declined service even though it clearly was written on the estimate that it was declined. The absolute worse part is that after coming home, our other dog developed the same symptoms as our dog we had brought in. We called them back and asked to speak to the doctor for counsel. They had no idea who the doctor was. Finally we were told the doctor would call us back. We never received a call and our other dog passed away that night. Obviously we were gutted and when we took our deceased dog in for afterlife care the next day, the receptionist just shoves the brochure at us and gives us prices. Not even a simple sorry or modicum of concern. They dont care about your pets. I write this because I dont want someone else to potentially feel the pain we feel for waiting for these folks to call you back and having something horrible happen.

At one point, the vet suggested blood tests on our cat who's kidneys "felt small" (in spite of the cat otherwise acting perfectly normal as ever)....$500 tests revealed the cat was fine (as we expected)...Eventually the office doubled in size, had marble flooring, fancy lighting, etc...okay, so that's where our $ went...but, ok....that's business. HOWEVER, appointments have been progressively more difficult to arrange. My recent attempt went as follows: Phoned, got a "please hold", kept on hold, was advised, via recording, to send an email, did so....never got a response to the email. Phoned again a week later, recording told me I was "second in line"....long wait....then "you are first in line".....long wait....another "you are first in line"....long wait...then a "please leave a message after the tone" *beeeep* (!!!)....I did leave a message, instructing them to send all my pets' medical records to another vet (and provided that vet's email)....this just happened today. Looking forward to working with the new vet (who's front desk answered the phone promptly and politely).
