Not sure what makes every taco we tried in Mexico (taco Chula CDMX !) extra delicious, but just like NYC pizza, never experienced a bad one here.

They're messy, greasy, tasty... what more could you ask for? While the salsa isn't anything to write home about, the chiles the tacos come with are really spicy. I was just in Monterrey visiting, but if I had these at home I'd order on a regular basis.

The food was good for the venue, but probably not the main point of the restaurant. The pork tacos and grilled lobster were good, well seasoned and fresh, but not special. We were all looking forward to the lechon and hoping for a memorable suckling pig with a crisp and translucent skin. New Yorkers are spoiled by the excellent Filipino and Dominican versions of lechon found in NYC. Unfortunately, the one found here had tough, leathery skin, but the meat was very tender. Not seasoned enough, a prolific assortment of condiments was provided. The space was very clubby, and we sat overlooking the avenue below on a 75 degree Mexican evening enjoying the warm breezes. Very ambient chill feel here, but the food could have made this place a contender. We enjoyed good wine, good conversation and the great local climate, Viva la Mexico!

I love the tacos with the chile de queso and chile de carne. Adding a simple corn tortilla to lightly battered stuffed pepper is perfect. Who knew? But the place is also hip: we were there on a World Cup day, and there were many fans watching the game. It was festive and lively. The food is outstanding. I was a solo diner that evening and had already eaten my fill with too much food. Well, the cheese cake was more than just a slice. It could feed 3-4 people! Not only that, the cheesecake was NOT fresh. It was definitely pre-made and frozen, because the texture was very icy and the only pistachio part was the crust. So not only did the server recommend some freezer burned mid level cheesecake, but also just wanted to inflate the bill for a bigger tip. While the food was delicious, it is extremely over priced as well. You can find the same food for much cheaper. This is one of the many pit falls for dining in San Pedro Garza Garcia district. I don't mind paying good money for good food, but the pricing on typical items is just egregious for what it is. I'd avoid and do not recommend this place.
