A gorgeous cafe in the heart of Issigeac. There is a bit of outdoor seating for the warmer months and of course a cute small space inside.
The menu is cafe like with salads, quiche and burgers as well as some local specialities. Get there early at lunchtime as it's busy. The french are known for their long lunches and this place is pretty full during lunchtime.
I had the duck burger which came with homemade chips and it was very nice. The duck was cooked medium rare and it was tasty. Duck is a speciality of this region and commonly found on menus. I also had a truffle schnapps which was delicious. Coffee here is good and all in all it was a lovely lunch.
Staff here are friendly and English is spoken albeit little. A nice spot for a reasonable lunch in town. read more
