Some of y'all are saying bad stuff about this place but it's amazing. The thing is the reason why they lack some service is because some of the workers DON'T SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH so sometimes they give looks or attuide. Altho the food here is good and amazing I definitely recommend the tortas or the quesadillas. The store definitely gives nostalgia to my Hispanic childhood. Love this place just be aware around the holidays it gets hectic a bit. The place is amazing to love the Hispanic snacks to and the FRUIT iS amazing if you don't what I'm talking about it's The store beside it. It's the main deal the restaurant is the food court the store is THE BIG DEAL love the Attmisvearse I recommend the cheese at the back of the store where you can buy different kinds of meat. Poor lack of customer service. Cashier was awfully rude & had a disgusting look on her face as if she didn't want to be at work that day. And to top it all off once I got home I realized they had forgotten something off my order and so I called and had to drive back up there. Safe to say I will not back! read more

I occasionally drive to Albertville for my brothers business. When I noticed this place I had to check it out, and now it's a weekly ritual to come here. Before covid the salsa bar was my favorite part, but that isn't a thing anymore and that's ok, I understand. What keeps me coming back here is the BARBACOA TORTA. And yeah, I just put it in all caps. It deserves it. I'm a torta fanatic and I've had them from LA, California to Savannah, Georgia , and even as far south as the Yucatán peninsula, and this is by far my favorite version. The Milanese is very close second, but barbacoa is for sure the leader in taste and overall satisfaction. When you come bring an appetite! read more

This place is real authentic mexican food. The owners are from Guanajuato and they bring the flavors of México to their kitchen. There is also a store next to the restaurant where they have all the meats and produce you need to recreate this flavorful dishes. Who knew that in Alabama I would find a little place of México. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit and our meal. I speak Spanish, but my husband does not and forgot his readers, so just be warned the English translation of the food is a bit smaller. I had the fajitas, the special...excellent. We went with our 4 year old, so it's good for kids. I wouldn't recommend the place for an anniversary dinner...but for a family meal, it's perfect. We went there with the family for fathers day. The food was very authentic. Everything was delicious. We all had something different, and sampled each other's entrées. I haven't acquired a taste for the chocolate mole sauce yet that comes on some dishes. I'd recommend you get it on the side if you're new to authentic Mexican. The people were very friendly. Awesome. Restaurant makes own tortillas and salsa. Has a condiments bar for free with lots of cool things to spice up it just add flavor to your meal. I've been to Mexico several times and the food here is as close as you will get to being in Mexico without actually going. Awesome! The supermarket next door also has a bakery with great mexican breads, cookies, and muffins. There is a place to get fresh corn tortillas in the back of the super market also.
