I got a regular manicure less than 24 hrs before these pictures & it's already chipping! I haven't done anything to warrant the chips. An older woman did my manicure & I tipped her $5 before she started so I hoped she would do a good job. She expressed the fact that she didn't like that I was only getting a regular manicure & not a gel manicure. They're gel manicures are Great. So that's why I came back. Beware when you go & maybe get another coat of polish & an extra top coat. read more

Ask for Cindy! Very sweet lady did my nails, great personality and very attentive. I didn't give her much to work with, since I had pulled off my tips (gasp!). I didn't want new tips so she put acrylic over my nails at my request and then did gel over. I love gel manicures- never have to worry about dings or chips! I came in to town overnight and needed my nails fixed and they were here. Yelp said they were closed but I called and they weren't. Yelp somehow has it wrong!!! read more

Cindy creates amazing nail art. We were going to New Orleans for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. In the spirit of things, I had my toenails painted in Mardu Gras colors and wanted a musical note on one big toe nail and a Fleur De Lis on the other. Problem - she didn't know what a Fleur De Lis was. So I showed her a picture of one on my phone, and she simply painted it on! Looked great (looked so good most people thought it was a decal of some kind and had trouble believing it was free hand with a brush! (And yeah I'm a guy - who decided our wives get to have all the fun?) I give my highest recommendation for Cindy. Really excellent service and talent! read more

i have been here before and gotten a gel manicure and the gel manicure lasted maybe 3 days before it started chipping. i usually do my nails at home but decided to treat myself. i use gel nail polish at home and my nails last for weeks. i recently went back to get a pedicure and it is THE WORST pedicure i've ever gotten in my life. they did not trim my toe nails nor file them. they didn't treat my cuticle and the polish they put on them is allllll around the skin area by my nails. they look fine until i went to inspect them. they customer service wasn't great. they were fast but getting me in and out in 35 mins with a shitty pedicure does not suffice. i will not be going back. (the cost of pedicure was $55) read more

Had a very bad experience at LA nails today.. waited 15 minutes to get in, although they told me I would be waited on right away. He stopped in the middle of my manicure and told me someone else would finish. I sat there for 10 minutes as my 3 friends were already finished with their pedicures by this time. A lady began to finish my mani. I had told the man who started it that I wanted long and pointed acrylics. I emphasized on the pointed because I wanted to make sure he understood since his English was a little rough. I guess he did not relay the message to this woman as she started to give me very short squared acrylics without even asking me what I wanted. when I communicated to her that I wanted pointed she blamed me and told me that I should have told her what I wanted right when she sat down. I was forced to pay for something I did not think deserved my money. I'm not the type of person who wants to pay for something I don't want. I am NEVER going to this salon again and I encourage others to do the same. AWFUL SERVICE! read more

If there was an option to give no stars, I would've! I was referred to this place by a coworker. I wanted to get a full set put on and my coworker's nails looked nice after getting them done here by Cindy, the owner. I made an app with her. Another woman began my nails and Cindy finished the job. Upon taking over for the other lady, Cindy was rude and seemed very rushed (my friend and I were the only ones in the place). My nails were crooked and some began lifting at the cuticles only two days after getting them put on. I spent 45$, including tip, to get these things put on and had to go back to a different place today (exactly one week later) to have a repair done on one of them (I chipped it at work). Upon the owner of the new place (CK Nails) seeing my nails she said "There's no way I can fill these because they're so bad.. I need to take them all off and give you a whole new set!" Do Not Go To LA Nails in Quincy. It's a waste of money! I recommend CK Nails. Ask for Kim, she's the owner. She's friendly, gentle and takes her time with you. I hate to leave such a negative review but, couldn't let anyone else waste their hard earned $$ like I had. read more
