This place delivered with a smile, despite us being jet lagged and not communicating well. The grilled peppers were amazing, as was the patatas bravas, grilled chicken, and battered fried calamari. The sangria was some of the best we had on the trip, stirred up fresh with lots of fruit. The outdoor tables are on a quieter street in town. Caberese and pesto rosso is what we ordered. Desserts were well presented and delicious. We had the cafe assortments in which they give you an espresso, a mini tiramisu and 2 chocolate truffles, all three were delicious! Huge portions, had to box away for our next meal and they boxed in a style I haven't seen before and I've travelled a fair bit. They gave us the pasta boxes in a proper tote bag! We had an overnight stay in the area before our flight home. We were looking for something close to…read morethe hotel that we could get a hot meal that wasn't McDonalds. We stumbled into this little gem. We had the cocida de garbanzo and the Muslitos de pollo Al ajillo. The service was welcoming and kind, the food flavorful. The clientele were boisterous and fun without being annoying. If we ever make it back to this part of the world, I would definitely try this again.
