It's £13.50 for the meze including dessert. I got the veg meze and she the meat (chicken). A bland soup and two delicious mini feta and spinach spanikopita start the meal and then a starter of dips and various food like broad beans, hummus, beets, etc. Some were flavorful and others bland. Overall though the food was lukewarm (when some items should have been served warmer) which I was disappointed at. Only the bread (which my friend loved) was served hot. I enjoyed my roasted veg and potato main (served hot) but the rice and peas accompanying it were bland. But the salad was delicious; loved the dressing! My friend loved her chicken and overall seemed to enjoy the flavors better than I did, as I saw it as hit or miss. The dessert was a homemade yogurt with honey which I loved but my friend not so much. The Greek wine is cheap and very good! I got a white and my friend the red. We got a carafe of tap water but it took some arm-twisting in that the owner only wanted to serve us bottled water initially. It was only upon ordering wine that he digressed. The owner speaks in a low voice but is obviously passionate about his food and business. I wasn't sure I would be full because the meze looks small (I eat a lot) but I left pleasantly sated.

Its a lounge restaurant. Very chic restaurant. Was so cold inside the restaurant. Came for dinner,…read moreempty. Service was not attentive for only 3 tables of diners. Ordered drinks which were not made well, so we only ordered 1 round. My friend loves steak. We shared the tomahawk steak medium well and was so bloody we had to send it back. I didn't care for the steak, too much fat for me. Steak had no seasoning, flavorless. We asked for chimichurri and garlic butter (2 euro each) pricey for a small amount they give you. The steak comes with a tiny salad and small fries. This place was terrible. I would not come back.

I'm not sure I could dislike a bar anymore. No really, I've tried to rack my brain and I just hate…read moreit. It's such a shame it's at the end of my road and not in, say, Siberia. You know you're going to experience something ridiculously snobby and up its own ar$e when you encounter, what I like to call, a 'door b!tch' (read moody cow with clipboard, smothered with make up and flanked by two huge bouncers), this is Clapham High St, not Mayfair! Just before I entered this hell portal, the two middle eastern looking guys who walked up before I did were turned away because they were 'full'. I could see, they could see and 'she' could see that it clearly wasn't. She declared they had to be on a guestlist, and off they walked. Funny that us 5 white folk were allowed to walk right in huh? Not the best first impression. The tacky decor screams try-hard, and it misses by a mile. Again, need I remind you where you are? The drinks are extortionate! I didn't ever feel I was getting value in this place. Thank the lord we didn't pay to get in. That post 10pm surcharge would be a slap in the face. Didn't feel comfortable here at all... although I did leave with one burning question. Where did all the twunts that frequent this place go before Aquum opened? If anything, they're doing Clapham a favour by adopting all the idiots that drink in this corner of London. I've been told there is a basement bar which can actually be quite fun. But to be honest, I'm never going in again. And Aquum? What a name!
