They have the Best strawberry ice cream ever hands down! I never get it from anywhere else! Every taste is full of strawberries and rich creamy flavor. read more

Yummy spot. I love coming here, they have so many options I can always try something new. The worker was very kind and helpful, answered all our questions and let us sample lots of things. The ambiance was calm when I visited mid day, but it does get quite busy in the evenings and weekends. The only downside is that they advertise many items but don't always have that available so heads up, but there are plenty of other options available. There also was no menu when I was there. The items were very tasty, we got mangonadas and a coconut drink. Amazing! read more

Food was good until we found plastic in her food a bit expensive but not worth eating plastic wonderful service just poor food your choice if you wanna go here, I wouldn't read more

The ice cream is delicious with all the flavors I would recommend the reason I'm giving my a 4/5 stars is because it is kinda expensive but it's worth it because off how the elotas and ice cream is and 10/10 corn with mayo and Tajín I would recommend trying the Cheetos with cheese it hurts your stomach but is really good read more

Honestly don't even bother going here. The workers are rude and it's overpriced. We got the wrong order and when we told the worker it was wrong she got mad and redid it but because she was mad she charged us extra for something that we didn't even get. So pathetic. read more

Something for everyone, whether you want a refreshing fruit water, or a creamy ice cream cone. Tons of flavors from sweet to sour to spicy. My fave is the Mango con Chile popsicle, kids love strawberry, cotton candy, and of the fruit flavors. Hubby loves the watermelon water. A little pricey, but a nice treat. read more

Do not rent the ice cream cart! Horrible service. The owner is rude and greedy. They are very unprofessional there. My "contract" was just a piece of paper. No renten el carro de paletas. Servicio pésimo. El dueño es egoísta y no son profesionales. Mi "contrato" era un papelito. NEVER AGAIN. NUNCA VOLVERÉ. read more

Every single time that I've visited because I have a craving for ice cream, strawberries n cream, elote, a fresh horchata or fruit yogurt - whatever it is- my sweet tooth is always thrilled and happy! The small batch ice cream is the best! I also enjoy the fresh fruit option desserts. If you haven't tried it, you need to! And then you won't stop ! read more

I'm a big fan for this place as I can get the flavors you won't find in an ordinary American ice cream place. The service is okay, but I find them to pay more special attention to their own ethnic background patrons maybe because they speak the same language. It's more like an ethnocentric type of business catering more to certain ethnic group. read more

Muy buen servicio las trabajadoras son muy amables, amigables. Siempre tienen muy limpio las áreas y están al pendiente del cliente

Good snacks, ice cream, drinks, customer service, atmosphere and prices all very good!! Nachos rock! read more

This place is one of the best places I like to grab ice cream with friends and family. I really enjoy the Elotes and the flavored waters they have (pineapple is my favorite). My favorite thing from here might just be the Strawberry popsicle that has an actual strawberry on it. You do have to wait a little bit because it is busy but I would personally say that it is worth the wait ( waiting a couple minutes in line won't hurt anyone). :) read more

el servicio es excelente, el producto siempre fresco y de muy buena calidad, el ambiente 100% friendly y familiar

Rude employees, there was a lady Hispanic heavy set being so rude asked her for a cup so we can put our kids ice cream cone in since they are kids and make messes! she's was like I have to charge you for the cup of ice cream and the cone with a rude approach. She was rude and made me not want to go back. I'll be sending my hubby and not going with my kids no more. RUDE EMPLOYEES (the older ladies not the younger ones or guys) read more

I describe it as Gelato on steroids. I don't think I'll bother with Culver's or any others for ice cream ever again. So many flavors ... so many beautiful creations. All I can describe it as is THE BEST! We passed by so many times but stopped in after a review on WGN. The only thing reason I don't go everyday is that I don't want to buy a new wardrobe just because of an ice cream habit. read more

Chai K totally showed me the best of round lake and Im impress. This place was mexican ice cream heaven. It was how basket robbin use to be with way over 31 favors and all so so good it was hard not to try everything. Between the Roche, bubble gum( yes the bubble gum was good, it was like the superman without the gum),walnut, pineapple coconut, and my favorite... strawberry cheesecake. Ok the best thing of all was the mexican ice cream bar... now if you grew up in chicago in the 80s... and remember the like walking carts.. this is it .. they have watermelon, spicy mango.. you name it.. it was there. Cream texture and not icy! read more

very good service, their attention and their milkshakes are the best, I recommend it, the best service

come here all the time to get elotes, normally pretty good and quick about it. this time they were the complete oposite, they told me 10 minutes and they'd have it out for me. 20 minutes goes by and STILL no elote. SO ANNOYING, why tell someone 10 minutes if you're just going to take your sweet ass time and let 20 minutes go by. when i asked how long it was going to be again after 20 minutes i asked again and she LAUGHED in my face after i told her they told me 10 minutes 20 minutes AGO!! horrible service don't go here for elotes unless you have an hour to spend waiting around edit: the elote was still 10/10 as usual read more

Discovered this place a little over a month ago. Now I cannot get enough of it. So very good.

If you don't speak Spanish, give it up. I stood in line for 15 minutes waiting to be helped, but they kept helping people behind me. I tried making eye contact with the servers, but they obviously purposely avoided me and engaged the people behind me. Spanish was the only language spoken here. It was apparent that I was not welcome, so I left and will not be going back. read more

It's 25 degrees out and I'm going out for ice cream. The things I do for Yelp! ;) My husband and I had just been out for an Indian lunch and I saw flags with ice cream on them on Rollins Road. (What's more perfect than ice cream after an Indian meal, if you know what I mean.) I said, "Hey, pull over, ice cream!" Since he's a smart man, he obeyed (ha!), and I was excited to see a brightly colored, fairly large ice cream parlor before me. And then I was over the moon to see they sell paletas, or ice pops, as well. I've never had one and it's on my list, as these are no ordinary ice cream truck popsicles! First, let me say, this shop has been opened a mere 4 days and apparently their first weekend was hoppin. Today, being an icy one, only gluttons for punishment like me and the hubs were indulging in anything colder than we already were! Turns out, we are pretty smart, cuz this is some delicious dessert we have here. Let me explain... Paletas are basically popsicles on steroids! They are of Latin American origin and popularity, and are what I would call gourmet popsicles, comprised of either a water or cream base, and bumped up with stunningly real and artfully arranged visible fruits, nuts, and other such flavorful items. They are BEAUTIFUL and this joint has 40 FLAVORS, not to mention the other coolers of ice cream flavors available in neighboring freezers, all of which are available to sample first. And they were delicious- and unique! Flavors like: Tequila, rice with cinnamon (actual rice grains in the ice cream), snickers, a tropical PINE NUT, tamarind and many, many more unique as well as traditional flavors. I was amazed at the variety of flavors, how gorgeous they looked, how creamy and delicious they tasted, and that they're all made there in house. Wow! They must have an army of frosty elves back there working their jingle bells off 24/7. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and patient, and could see how excited I was. She let us sample about 6 flavors, and each one was yummy and special. We were very impressed. One scoop was $1.90 but it was closer to 3 scoops, I'd say, a very generous size. And these beautifully vivid and artful paletas, a bargain at $1.50. I will be back to pick up a bunch at those prices. They looked sooooo good. When you walk in, you will know what I mean. I don't get super excited for ice cream, but my hubby does, and we were both agog. I'd really like to give it 5 stars, but since it's so new, I like to wait and make sure the standards are maintained, but they're off to a bangin' start. There is ample seating and bright lighting, but it's CASH ONLY, so come prepared. They offer paletas, ice cream, juices, smoothies and even other items like nachos and such. My husband saw a really interesting looking dessert being made and was intrigued. There were also fruit flavors I'd never heard of- and I mean the fruit itself! "Mamey" (pronounced ma-MAY), tasted like cantaloupe to me, for those curious... This is a fantastic addition to the Round Lake area. It's in an extremely underwhelming strip mall that is nothing to look at at all, but they offer delicious and unusual frozen desserts that will surely beckon you to sample and buy, even if it IS Arctic temps outside. You live in Chicago, people! Man up! This ice cream is worth the frostbite. read more

Words can't even begin to describe how amazing this place is. Words just don't do it justice. It's heaven on earth. Ever time I go in, I feel like a kid in a candy store. The ice cream is always fresh and delicious! The staff is always nice and welcoming! I suggest trying everything! It's all amazing! read more

Nice staff that was eager to help and encourage me to sample things. Nachos were great along with the ice cream. Many more items we'd love to try next time. Very clean establishment!! read more

It's like they want to act like they misheard my order and still forced me to pay for a duplicate item when I've clearly asked for a SINGULAR, not plural, menu item. Pricing could be better, but these small businesses definitely shift their pricing according to demand, so it's not truly terrible for what they are. Maybe if employees could learn a thing or two about customer service it'd make the trip to this place a much more enjoyable experience. read more

Not cash only any more so don't let that stop you. I love this place. Very unique and delicious. Definately not something you see every day! :-) read more

Love my mangonadas! So many different flavors of ice cream to choose from how can you go wrong. So delicious everytime.

So good! Amazing and authentic--I think we are the only white English speakers in the place. The popcicles are beautiful, but the pistachio rum raisin. Yum yum yum! read more

The snacks are top notch, the prices not so much but they'll never change. The reason why I'm giving it a 3 is because there was an incident where they gave me two bags of hot cheetos with cheese when I had only asked for one, and they MADE me pay for it. Completely ridiculous. Nevertheless, I still go back and make my order as clear as possible. The ice cream is delicious. read more

Absolutely delicious. The ice cream here is so fresh! I love love the manogneadas here, which is mango ice cream mixed with chil powder and chamoy sauce. I always want to try something new when I enter, and the servers are incredibly nice and always let you try the flavors you would like. The chocalate abuelita ice cream is also a big favorite of mine since it perfectly captures the richness of the latino hot chocolate. Overall, delicious dishes and great service! read more

Great customer service, yummy ice cream. The wait is longer on sundays because people go after church, but other than that service is fast.

The best ice cream I've ever had! All of their flavors are amazing but I would definitely recommend the pistachio flavor.
