    So good

When it gets scorching hot, this is the place to be! Their AC is on full blast and they have all the cool desserts. Service is prompt and served with a smile. Parking is easy to get in and out of. Visit this hidden gem. Thank me later.

    Large chamangos

We had a small family gathering and someone requested we pick them up a chamango on our way over. This place was open fairly early compared to other businesses in our search results and was in a convenient location. Although there were no price menu from what I could see (I think their menu screens weren't turned on yet), the cups and sizes available were all clearly labeled with their price and the women helping us were both very patient with answering our questions. We ordered 4 large chamangos and 1 small horchata and it was all delicious. We told them we were driving about 30 min away and they were kind enough to give us a small bag of ice to keep them cold in the car since we were experiencing an intense heat wave.

This place has everything if you want ice cream or delicious snacks! The service was quick and friendly, the ambiance was chill :)

    Chamango

Came here on a Friday night for a summer night dessert. It's located in a plaza so parking is easy. There's a ton of ice cream flavors along with fruit bars (that were really pretty!) but I decided to go with the Chamango and chocolate covered banana with peanuts. The chocolate covered banana is like any other, basically a banana popsicle. The Chamango was unique. I hadn't tried something like this before so I was surprised by all the flavors going on with every bite. It comes with your ice cream of choice, which of course I had to go with the mangonada and I also added strawberry. They top it with mango pieces, tamarind candy, a tamarind stick and some spices. Each bite was sweet, sour and had a hint of chili, making it refreshing. The tamarind candy was a bit hard but I like that it added a different texture to the smooth ice cream.

Expect long lines. We waited about an hour to get our order. The ice cream was delicious as well as the sandia loca.

Nothing amazing but not bad ether. Screens where off so you cant see the menu which is very weird I want to see the menu and prices. I noticed another person left a review stating the same thing "menus turned off" Place has a weird old wet towel smell to not the cleanest otherwise id give 5 stars. Has a corporation restaurant feel to it.

One of my favorite places to get dessert. I like getting the chamango but with lime ice cream (get it, soo good!) My boyfriend likes to get his with mango ice cream and lime. I also love getting my tostilocos here. I've ordered them at other La Michoacana locations but they don't compare. All the works here are so njce and they put a perfect amount of chamoy into my tostilocos. The paletas and ice cream are bomb. My favorite paleta is the mangonada and my favorite oce cream is the ferrero rocher (so fresh!) Maybe next time I will get a sandia loca Lastly, get the esquite! Such good portions, and they cut the corn off the cob fresh! Not canned corn! Be prepared if going during the evening, there is always a wait!

OMG I love this place for all sorts of ice creams. I love all the flavors they are all so hard to pick because there are so many great flavors. The workers are pretty fast the the lines there are sometimes, and they are all really nice. They have a reasonable price for everything in the store. They also have these toy vending machines and they are quite entertaining when there's a line. One of my favs in Escondido.

Triple scoop large chamango with lime, strawberry, and mango!

Wow! I have found my cool off spot. The paletas here are so refreshing and tasty on a hot day. I got a plain coconut and it was full of of delightful young coconut. Since we can't really vacation somewhere right now, this was the closest my tongue was to dancing around a Hawaiian beach! There were also creamy paletas, chocolate covered ones, sorbets, and creamy ice cream! We also got a chamango (it's a must!) and it was so good. Nice balance of chamoy, taijin, and sour fruits mixed with sorbets. The strawberry sorbet is a bit sweet for my liking (just my opinion, my husband said i was crazy) but i enjoyed the lime and mango ones in the chamango. It was so clean, masks everywhere, and lots of space to spread out-- definitely covid friendly!

We didn't get any fruit this time - just ice cream - but it all looked amazing.

We wanted ice cream after a long drive and randomly found this place on yelp. So glad we did. What a gem! The service was excellent - friendly and competent. The ice cream was delicious, and available in lots of really interesting flavors. I got one scoop of a kind of burned milk flavor (forgot the name), one scoop of the queso flavor (cheese) which sounds really weird until you think of the filling of cheese danish, or cheesecake, and one scoop of eggnog. Eggnog ice cream in August! Hooray! We live east of San Diego, but will definitely be going out of our way to come up here from time to time. By the way, they are handling the restrictions of the pandemic beautifully. Everything is clean, there is lots of space for keeping distance, and they were wearing masks (as were we, and everyone else). So glad to see that. It's great to be able to safely support a local business.

Tried this place on 4th of July, clean, friendly and acknoldges Customers right away. Ordered the mixed fruit in sweet cream sauce (condensed milk). Was very good but cantalope was not ripe at all. Dish has bananas, apple, mango, strawberries and unripend cantaloupe. Over all very good, brought dish home and added cinnamon as a topping...delish! Will definitely return back.

BEST Chamango I've ever had!!! A perfect combo of tamarind and mango ice cream and chamoy/mango bits of pieces. If you love sweet and spicy desserts this one def hits the spot! And if you're Mexican you usually love anything lime tasting or chile tasting LOL so you'll agree to my remarks of them having the best Chamango dessert. For those that prefer other desserts they have a variety of Mexican paletas, fresas con cremna, and fun distinct Mexican dessert options. I'm obviously bias towards Chamango/chamoyadas since they are my favorite but my group that came and got a dessert at this location really loved it. ENJOY!!!

I was longing for the day til' this chain set up shop in town and now it's here a couple blocks away from my hood! My review is only for the ice cream, they have the same unique flavors that the other locations have. My personal favorite ice cream flavors in descending order being Ferrero Rocher, Gansito, Tres Marías, and Snickers. I've yet to try the myriad of other Mexican goodies such as tostilocos, chamango, sorbets, etc. Store layout is spacious as hell, with potential for a lot of seating space (although I only saw about five tables) which I'm assuming they'll add more once they finish setting up shop. It's reminiscent of the Jurupa Valley location, which is where I was first introduced to this ice cream chain. Will update review on other items once I try them, but for now this review is strictly for the ice cream.

    Do they have raspados here?

As far as I know they do not. They do make fruit based and milk based ice creams. I know it's not the same but they are really good. I know a good raspado place but it's down south.

What are the top 5 most delicious items to order?

Tostilocos, chamango, esquite/elote, fresas con crema and any ice cream flavor! They're all fresh!
