I often get their drink's because they are so light and refreshing especially in the summer. I like the fact that when you walk in you smell bleach because they are always cleaning up and making sure things are sanitized properly. Sometimes there's a line but they staff is always quick and efficient. They don't have prices posted i'm not sure why but overall it will continue to be a place I support. read more

The ice cream was some of the best I've had in a while. It was fresh and of excellent quality - not airy like the cheap stuff. They had a mix of traditional flavors and unique ones. They also had paletas, fresh made popsicles with fresh fruits. The staff was friendly and the restaurant clean. I love this place. I don't know why I haven't checked before! Staff and food is authentic, meaning they will give you all the real flavor and experience from Mexico's street food and taste! It is an easy system of ordering and receiving your food. Now, having some Spanish will help on the order, however they all speak English! There are several street food too, not only ice cream and paletas (popsicles), each one with its vibrant and delicate flavors. Sometimes flocos that you wouldn't imagine like fresh cheese ice cream, imagine your cheese cake fillings but frozen... what a taste! Prices are very reasonable, and they accept all cards making our life's easier. I would comeback more often if my schedule were more compatible, the evening hours are shy from late hours, closing st 9pm I think deters more customers. I do like the place! read more

First of all, I am so glad I found this little gem in Madison! I first saw a picture of their paletas on my friend's facebook and my husband and I went for a hunt for it! this is now our go to for any dessert! Paletas I've tried: avocado, coconut, arroz (rice), strawberry cheesecake, peach, and coffee. Can you say fat? LOL! But seriously, everything is DELICIOUS! My ultimate favorite are avocado and arroz!!!! You must try them! All of their paletas that are fruit based has real fruits in it. I mean, seriously? You can't buy that at a store! The people here are always so nice, too! You can try any of their ice cream before buying it so you don't even have to guess! The homemade ice cream is simply amazing - I honestly couldn't believe it when I found out it was made in-house. As a small business, I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality. The service is fantastic as well; the staff is always friendly, and they get my order correct every single time. It's great that everyone can speak both Spanish and English, making it a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of language. The ambiance is lovely, and every time I visit, I feel right at home. I enjoy seeing families and couples having a good time at the tables. One thing to note though is that Sunday afternoons can be quite busy, especially during the summer months. So, I would recommend visiting on a less crowded day if possible. read more

I downgraded to 2, disregarding the variety and quality and service because it pisses me off when the prices displayed are not what's charged. I could have made a stink and let my ice cream melt while I protested but instead I'll warn the next customers instead. The prices on those three fancy screens are not current OR that sweet lady charged me more because I looked gullible. I need to take a moment to gush about this place. My BFF took me here and it's magical. I haven't had mamey ice cream since I was in Mexico 14 years ago and they have it here! I was so happy to see it and even more excited when I tasted it. That same unique flavor is there and it brought out all of the feels. They also have a rice pudding paleta here that is suuuuuper yummy; I'd never had rice pudding before and I'm glad this was my first experience with it. I tried this place because my daughter has been begging us to take her here because she sees it daily on our way home. When we entered we were not greeted, and the young guy behind the counter was saying rude things under his breath. After standing in front of him for about 5 minutes the lady who was helping other customers came over to help us and scolded the young man for being rude. She then forced him to serve us. He begrudgenly did so, but first took his precious time wiping down the counters. My friends and I each ordered a pop of our own. I got mango con chile, which had a saltier, sour taster with mango chunks (which I absolutely love)! I also bought the cheese one togo on the whim because i thought it would taste weird but when I tried it was delicious! It tasted like a creamy condensed milk- it had a very subtle cheese taste which I liked. From my friends, I've also tried the soursop (mild guava taste) and las frutas (mixed fruit) which taste just as great. Each pop is about 2.50! read more
