It's a great store, filled (although I'd call it "crammed") with kids clothing, toys, books and shoes for infants and small children. Things are sorted by size but if you're overwhelmed when you stop in, a helpful employee will ask some questions and then either take you or point you to the right area. Once you figure things out, you'll quickly realize the store is incredibly organized and remarkably clean considering the volume of clothing. Immediately as you enter are the seasonal items, on this visit. the holiday colors and outfits for babies and toddlers. Precious Seconds is a thrift store, although the prices are only slightly less than retail -- at least on some items. The toys and books are in good condition, some only slightly worn. While there are clothes for the expectant parent, including some gorgeous dresses, that isn't the focus. It's the clothes and shoes that bring them in. Everything I looked at was in almost-new condition. As do all thrift stores, this place will allow you to bring things in for store credit, and that can help toward lowering costs on clothing for which prices can rival that of adult clothes considering the short period of time they can be worn

I think that the charm of the place comes with personality, if you cannot follow directions (ringing a doorbell, respecting someones store that they have put 45+ years into curating), im sorry for your loss. If you can, i highly recommend stopping by, and for sure-- set some time aside to do so:-)

I decided to leave it, and set it back on its shelf. The owner then came over and started scolding me like I was a child for playing the music box. I apologized, but he started yelling at me and continued to follow me and my family through the store and berate us. At one point my mother put her hand slightly up and told him "we get it, we understand," and that is when he started to get aggressive, started yelling even more loudly at us, and he put his hand aggressively in my face. I did not feel safe, and I told him "we are happy to leave" and my family and I left as he continued to become more agitated. It was actually very shocking, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I would not recommend any woman shop in this store, alone or with others, and that any men who respect women not shop here either.

It's a different kind of toy store. Forget building blocks or action figures; try tractors, heavy equipment, loaders, spreaders, trucks, and farm and ranch animals. Buy a barn and stock it with the accoutrement. Cattle, cows, pigs, sheep, horses, saddles, even the tiniest already bailed hay. The first thing that caught my eye were the tractors (yeah, I know), but they had the toy replicas of John Deere tractors going back to the early 1900s. If green is not your color, then they had the IH tractors, too. Of course, like any toy store, there are things not farm related: racing cars, dump trucks, dinosaurs, and the like. While I was there, a grandfather was shopping with his two grandkids who were having more fun looking at everything than I did. They walked out with a good size stash of things for their collections. It was fun to watch and hear their excitement. Action toys is an interesting store with whatever is needed to build a model farm or ranch.

Since we drove to Montana from Los Angeles, and still needed to drive back to LA, we needed a new car seat ASAP. Drove over the Beartooth Mountains into Billings and found this gem of a store. The girls who were working there were so nice. The manager, Brittany, was the best and very knowledgeable. They only had 1 convertible car seat (the Nuna Rava) but they had it available in all 3 color options. I bought it in Frost. [Note: I called Bed Bath and Beyond and they didn't have a single convertible car seat available in store! Target had a terrible selection.] I could have looked around the store for hours and bought half their stock for infant boys, but I exercised self restraint and focused on the task at hand. I will for sure end up buying stuff off their website because they carry the cutest, high quality merchandise! I really wish there was a store like this in LA.
