If you're a fan of beer they have more options than your typical place - I was happy with happy hour wine prices though. Also on happy hour - appetizers and baskets of crispy frites. I opted for an onion soup (really lovely) and their "yin yang" version of ouefs meurette which offered versions in traditional wine sauce but their own version in an Epoisses cream.
Can I reflect upon the perfection of these eggs for a moment? Indulge me. The burgundy version was great - a light, herb filled sauce that wasn't too salty and clearly homemade. But that Epoisses cream? Incredible - I used up a pile of bread on the sauce because it was perfect. I am currently sad that I am not eating that sauce right now and for the rest of my days.
Service was fun and friendly, and the prices are "college student cheap". Don't sleep on those eggs, though - seriously.
