I always hear…read morethat the ice cream in Mexico is way better than American and I believe it in a heart beat. The girls were so awesome of being supportive of coming with me as some of them snagged a treat. One of the girls were hesitant to eat anything in Mexico in fears of getting sick. I ate everything...if I could have ate the stick I would too! That's how good it was and I was fine. I did not get sick or anything. I honestly wanted another one. My ice cream was on $1.10 or something like that. Barely a dollar. For the taste and quality in America would easily be over $5. Let me tell you, it was so hard picking out what I wanted as they had a plethora of flavors. I highly recommend this place as it is very delicious. It's very affordable. It was clean and staff very Helpful. They spoke English and Spanish and were happy to greet us. I am already craving this ice cream shop! It taste pure and authentic. You will be delighted by this place.

You will have fun exploring the different options. Most everything looks home-made, even the bars. Haven't been back in 2 years and don't remember what I had last, but haven't had anything I regretted yet in the 4 times I've visited There is no place to sit inside, but there are a couple of benches outside. The curbs outside are very high. Be careful opening your car doors.

The churros were very hot and fresh. $3 a churro seems a tad steep, but they were worth it. They are pretty good size. It did take about 10+ mins for the churros to be ready. They were worth the wait. The girl behind the register was friendly and informed us what all the fillings were since they were in Spanish. That was much appreciated. There is plenty of indoor seating. I almost got a coffee too as those looked really good. We will absolutely be back next time we're in Ensenada.

Workers were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu…read more We ended up getting a guava filled churro, horchata cream filled churro, an order of 4 regular churros, and a horchata latte. Total came out to about $13. Churros were good but very comparable to ones you can get in most places in Southern California. It was my first time trying a filled churro so that was a fun treat. They make everything fresh so you have to wait about 10 min for the order to come out. The latte was really sweet. It was good but didn't taste like the horchata lattes I normally get at home. Cafe was very clean and spacious. There's several tables throughout the store and also an upstairs seating area. There's also a restroom available and free WiFi as well.

Google informed us there was a nearby ice cream shop but when we went at the time (not sure if it is changed) the location moved. We decided to go to a different ice cream shop since we couldn't find this one and we randomly stumbled upon it . It is down the street from Papa and Beer. It feels like it is off the tourist area so be careful . We were very vigilant as there was A LOT of police activity going on . We have been walking for A LONG time trying to find a cool treat for a hot day and this place hit the spot. The young man who served us used to be in Texas but family moved back to Ensenada for better opportunities. The ice cream shop looks new inside. As they moved locations. It was cool inside and we were so grateful for him as we were burnt. Remember to bring small bills. All we had was a $20 bill which we only ordered two items and didn't mind this family owned business to keep the change. He was very surprised and very appreciative and asking us if we were sure as the ice cream came to $8. Seriously a steal. We were more than sure. We felt safe inside. But dreading the walk back to our cruise boat. Overall, definitely hit this place up if you are wanting authentic delicious Mexican ice cream. The dude and I loved this place! Can't wait to come back.
