The churros were very hot and fresh. $3 a churro seems a tad steep, but they were worth it. They are pretty good size. It did take about 10+ mins for the churros to be ready. They were worth the wait. The girl behind the register was friendly and informed us what all the fillings were since they were in Spanish. That was much appreciated. There is plenty of indoor seating. I almost got a coffee too as those looked really good. We will absolutely be back next time we're in Ensenada.

It is conveniently located up the street from the Cruise ports to the left side. The only draw back was I wanted my drink cold, they made it hot, and it came out to $13 (for two churros and two small coffees). I gave a $20 and they said they didn't have dollars for change. I even tried to ask if they can throw in another filled churro and they said they can't do it. They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change. Otherwise, the Chocolate Mexican coffee was delicious and the churro was also, lots of seating, and one of the spots to visit!

Google informed us there was a nearby ice cream shop but when we went at the time (not sure if it is changed) the location moved. We decided to go to a different ice cream shop since we couldn't find this one and we randomly stumbled upon it . It is down the street from Papa and Beer. It feels like it is off the tourist area so be careful . We were very vigilant as there was A LOT of police activity going on . We have been walking for A LONG time trying to find a cool treat for a hot day and this place hit the spot. The young man who served us used to be in Texas but family moved back to Ensenada for better opportunities. The ice cream shop looks new inside. As they moved locations. It was cool inside and we were so grateful for him as we were burnt. Remember to bring small bills. All we had was a $20 bill which we only ordered two items and didn't mind this family owned business to keep the change. He was very surprised and very appreciative and asking us if we were sure as the ice cream came to $8. Seriously a steal. We were more than sure. We felt safe inside. But dreading the walk back to our cruise boat. Overall, definitely hit this place up if you are wanting authentic delicious Mexican ice cream. The dude and I loved this place! Can't wait to come back.

There is limited street parking, but well worth any walk you may need to make to arrive. When you walk in, you are transported into a welcoming, quiet and beautiful haven away from the bustle of the street. They have decorated with a unique combination of antiques, whimsical and folk art, both elegant and rustic. There are potted plants, a fountain in the patio, many display cases with jewelry for sale. You can enjoy specialty coffees, refreshing drinks, exquisite desserts or a hearty meal in one of the multiple sitting areas, dining rooms, cozy nooks, the patio, or upstairs. I only had a cappuccino, but I was there with a group, and I saw some of the desserts and entrees they ordered and apparently really enjoyed. My cappuccino was delicious. Prices are competitive and the portions are generous. The table service was friendly, and though with a group the size of ours, there was opportunity for confusion, but the server got it all accurately. We had a very pleasant time, and I would certainly return if given the chance, even if just to explore and admire all the unusual decor.
