The socca layer cake was delicate and flavorful with roasted peppers and cheese holding it together. The melon with prosciutto and mozzarella was simple yet delicious. For our main courses the Cod was perfectly cooked with citrus and herbs to balance out the flavor. Fish was fresh as can be. The beef and noodles dish was a hit, with the juiciest most tender pieces of meat seasoned in a lovely Asian sauce. The accompanying noodles were the perfect texture. Even the dessert was spectacular. I loved my Toblerone mousse. It brought on some nice nostalgia from childhood. The strawberry crumble was heavy on the fresh strawberries and came with an amazing strawberry sorbet sprinkled with a few bits of crumble. This was the perfect meal to start of our vacation in the south of France!
