Seriously one of the best meals of my life!!!! I would go out of my way for this place, just show the photo of these items I ate to the waiter and be amazed by the flavors. The waiter, a young guy who was super awesome and friendly and helpful. The menu is in Spanish but he can translate for you , and seriously anything is mind blowing here. I wish I could eat here all the time. Love this place. Unassuming small bar with seating upstairs and yet the food is Michelin worthy. read more

Great bar y taparía!!! Just had an MRI around the corner and yelped for something close for a quick cerveza and tapa and La Mala came up with great reviews. They were right. Cozy little joint good service and nice beer. We had the tortilla and it was really delicious. We will come back when we are in the 'hood. read more

La Mala is a locals joint and the kind of place I crave but the staff here are not very attentive to tourists in that if you don't aggressively ask for what you want, then, you don't get...service. The food is solid but nothing amazing and worth the poor service. Try somewhere else first. read more

Party of 4, we came here for lunch. With our limited Spanish skills Phoebe took care to explain the dining format (complimentary tapas with drink) and specials. Oh.my.god. The food was fantastic. We ordered 3 dishes for 2, zucchini with parmesan, truffle Spanish omelette and grilled pork and vegetables. We largely went by the waiter's recommendation because we didn't quite understand the Spanish menu. The place is small but busy and charming, more like an eclectic bar with some tables upstairs.
