I ordered the plain cake because the other option was Oreo (lol that's trashy for an expensive place), and grinned with delight as it was put in a box AND then a decorated bag, like I'd just gone shopping for something that would last more than five minutes. It was delicious, with a very hard, dry consistency that was not very sweet. A bit on the tart side, indicating they are liberal with the sour cream, while conservative with the sugar. Definitely a great base for a more complex cake, but even though simple is good, the flavor just wasn't appealing enough for me to give it a full five stars.
If you want a taste that's a bit more complex, totally go for the cupcakes. Especially tiramisu!
