Bed was very comfortable and room was sizable with a small refrigerator, but no hot water pot.
Most importantly, the couple who own and run the hotel and their staff are amazingly helpful!
The gentleman who served us breakfast, both mornings we were there, did a great job finding out what we did and did not want and making adjustments our second morning. Just note that you must book and pay for breakfast the day before. The cost of 15 euros was very reasonable given the size and variety of the breakfast food offered.
On our day of departure, we asked them to book us a taxi to Brunelles-Midi (Brussels-Zuid) train station. After they called for a taxi, we all found out that there was a transit worker strike that also impacted taxis in the city; yikes!
The owner said she would take us to the station for 15 euros, which is about what a taxi would have cost. This saved our day, and we are very grateful!
Our only suggestion would be to have somewhat better lighting in the rooms. read more
