The layout is massive and the store is broken up into sections that range from beauty supply and cosmetics to clothing, electronics, seafood, and a specialty courtyard experience. Cedraui is a chef's dream and takes buying groceries to a whole new level. There is a mechanical wine bar so you can enjoy a glass of wine as you select from the vast varieties of specialty cheeses, rustic breads, fine wines, tequilas, refrigerated produce, or even ready made foods. Cedraui offers guests comfortable seating, big screen televisions and excellent customer service and I saw a group of gentlemen just hanging out watching sports on TV in the air conditioned food court. When the mercury rises this is the place to go. I am excited to have so many shopping choices in San José del Cabo.

A couple of takeaways stood out. I bought a small stick of butter that was unlike anything I'd regularly experienced in the States--the flavor and the way it melted were noticeably better. I also picked up a few heads of lettuce that were incredibly fresh and crisp, complete with the roots still attached. Honestly, if I were back home, I could've planted them again. All in all, if you're in Cabo and need a grocery store but don't want to drive all the way to Walmart, this spot has everything you need and is very comparable to any grocery store in the United States.

I…read moreusually avoid convenience stores back in the States because they are over priced, but that is far from the case at Oxxo. Oxxo is a steal for drinks, quick food like hot dogs and nachos, chips, and drugs. We won't be buying nonalcoholic drinks out and about because this place is a steal in comparison! They are pretty limited, though. We came in looking for eggs, but they didn't have them, and we checked two different locations. For typical convenient stores needs though, go here and avoid the pharmacies and convenient store type places in the marina because it's super overpriced compared to Oxxo!
