I visited Cabo in March of this year for a wedding and stayed at an Airbnb with a kitchen, so I picked up a few essentials from a local grocery store. It was my first time shopping in a Mexican grocery store, and I was genuinely surprised by how modern it was and how abundant the selection felt. The store offered more fresh items than many grocery stores in the U.S.--and this was during the peak of the so-called "egg shortage." I snapped a few photos along the way. A couple of takeaways stood out. I bought a small stick of butter that was unlike anything I'd regularly experienced in the States--the flavor and the way it melted were noticeably better. I also picked up a few heads of lettuce that were incredibly fresh and crisp, complete with the roots still attached. Honestly, if I were back home, I could've planted them again. All in all, if you're in Cabo and need a grocery store but don't want to drive all the way to Walmart, this spot has everything you need and is very comparable to any grocery store in the United States. read more

So I pretty much got tired of paying $8 (Resort prices) for a can of ginger ale at the resort lol. So I took an Uber here to stock up on beverages and munchies. Gladly, it was only a few miles away from the resort. Got there in about 5 minutes. This spot has Tons of beverage options, from ginger ale to juice and various brands of water. They also have an Alcohol section with a wide variety of spirits to choose from. Any type of liquor you can think of is in stock here and the prices are waaayyy cheaper than U.S Prices. I bought a bottle of tequila for $10 that would've cost me $25 in NY. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the place is huge and clean. I'll definitely shop here again when I return to Cabos!! read more

The best market snd service down here! Period. From the true temperature check and sanitizer everywhere to the freshest produce, fish and meat anywhere.... Fresko wins hands down.... my wife asked fir dill and I thought no way.... yep, had it! Pineapple? Got it. Fresh (just cooked) tortillas are awesome and the best thing is whatever size you need, they will rewrap it just so you have enough. Aisles are well marked and the employees are so good at helping you find what you need. Even if you here fir a bit and want great wine or tequila.. this is your spot! read more

I owe it to the Yelp community to review this outstanding market in San Jose del Cabo. It opened a year ago, yet nobody has given it the Yelp love that it deserves. Upon entering the market I stopped for a Cafe Latte, and they asked me what kind of milk I would like. I requested lactose free (who wants to be gurgley on vacation), and was floored when they asked me if I wanted low fat or regular lactose free milk. Wow. I was pleasantly surprised that it was served with two miniature croissants. As they prepared my coffee, I took a tray and selected some freshly made bread and other treats from the bakery and the woman tending the panederia quickly wrapped them up for me. There was a fresh juice bar with a few samples and I opted for the grapefruit which will be used in greyhound cocktails later tonight. I took my time in the fresh produce station selecting pasilla, jalapeno and Serrano chilies, artisan lettuce, crimini mushrooms, tomatoes and onions. All of the produce is of superior quality. A large section filled with wine, beer and liquor lured me in and I walked away with some Jamaican rum as well as vodka for the greyhound. The aisles of the store were lined with everything a gourmet cook would need to prepare outstanding meals for the week. The variety of products to make sushi exceeded my expectations with products ranging from the traditional nori, wasabi and rice to soy paper, and pink rice. I picked up some rice and beans, spices, milk, eggs and butter to stock the condo. The market carried an expansive variety of high quality items ranging from automotive, household goods, kitchen supplies and clothing as well. The prices were reasonable, the service was outstanding and the market was clean and refrigerated. I am thrilled to have stumbled into such a lovely market and happy to share this review with you. read more

Staying with family at the Hilton and this place is an easy taxi ride away. They are fully stocked with fruit, veggies, and all the grocery staples. It's much cleaner than an American grocery store! Bring your own bag or be prepared to buy reusable. read more

They were out of a bunch of stuff, including all premade guac and pico. Then the half &half we bought was expired/spoiled (I didn't check the dates until we got back to our hotel, my bad? No, their bad.) More frustratingly, instead of restocking the items they're out of or checking the expiration dates of dairy in the cooler, their staff are running around the store playing mask police in the aisles. Dude, that nonsense was over a while ago, it's 2023. The rest of the grocery stores in the area aren't playing these stupid games. No thanks. Never again. read more

Came down here in September and it was awesome. Anyone from the US the equivalent standard would be a Whole Foods or Bristol Farm. The selection is a higher quality, the aisles are wide, specialty liquor/wine/champagne/imported beer, nice selection of imported meats and a good hot section. You can't go wrong here. Everyone's super helpful and will make sure to help you find what you need. Definitely feels closer to your US higher end grocery store. Take a stop by and find anything you need. It's near the Palmilla so they're definitely catering to the clientele. Happy shopping!! read more
