I probably ordered the wrong tasting menu starting with veal sweetbreads & trotter (though I love good sweetbreads), but the experience was still excellent from the service to the food. Surprisingly, portions were very large and I had to leave part of my entree and main course (rabbit) on the plate to save room for what's to come. I thankfully ordered a souffle for dessert which was phenomenal but also not terribly filling. My wife enjoyed her meal of gazpacho (clearly it was tomato season across Normandy) followed by a well-cooked local fish, and our wine pairings were very reasonably priced and incredibly well chosen to match our food. Just about everything about this restaurant lived up to its Michelin star designation, though surprisingly there were 2 tables (at lunch) with young children and one across from us where an older woman actually brought her dog in with her. The children for the most part and even the dog were very well behaved though and I like that they're open to both dining at a Michelin starred restaurant. I think my dog may need to take French lessons.
