They have a large menu mostly comprised of sandwiches and burgers. Some odd items for Mexico including a bagel with lox and a Rueben. With that said I'm a little tired of Mexican food after being here for about two weeks so I opted to give it a try. I actually really liked the broccoli salad that came with the sandwich, it was tasty and fresh. Would definitely get that again. The sandwich was good, but the bread was terrible - so dry and hard. It was a bummer because the rest of the ingredients were yummy. They should have just thrown it on some simple white bread and it would be 10x better. Cheesecake was yummy but again a little pricey at 80 pesos. Probably wouldn't come back but I would consider getting a small side of the broccoli salad to go as a snack in the future.

Nearly everything is in the 30 peso range also, so super cheap. They may ask you "para aqui o para llevar" (for here or to go) which may seem nonsensical for a food truck, but if you say "para aqui" they'll just give it to you on a paper plate to eat there in the park, whereas para llevar means they put it in a bag.

They do three kinds of tamales: mole, verde and rojo, and champurrado. I got two tamales de mole, used to the wimpy tamales in the states. Whoa, these babies are freakin huge. I was so full after one. And the mole was complex and rich and sweet and savory all at the same time. Duh, it's Oaxaca. The grandmas know what's up.

The server also gave us diced onions and jalapenos for it, which added a lot of flavor. The mole was interesting. This was the first time that I've tried it so I don't really have anything else to compare it to yet. The dessert was a small slice of cake. It was a great way to end the meal. Also, we got the piña (pineapple) aguas and it was really good. Note: Since this is so close to the zócalo where the teachers are protesting, tourists should be extra aware of what's going on. We were there on Sunday afternoon and it was calm then. However, we saw a lot of police (8 cars/trucks) pass us on our way home.
