It sounds odd to have sauerkraut in a white bean soup, but it worked really well! - Gnocchi with goulash: pillowy gnocchi with goulash - a true mix of Italy and Slovenia - Amatriciana: the pasta was a little softer than I expected, but the flavors were good The soup was the highlight for me. House wine by the carafe wasn't bad (€5 for 500 ml), and we finished with espressos. Staff were so gracious and welcoming, and it was great to eat among locals in a small town. Bonus: the bill was only €37!

The hostess was able to seat us after a very short wait. We had their risotto con verze and sausage (Savoy Cabbage Risotto with sausage), the gnocchi and the Ljubljanska and all had a bite because we wanted to try everything.
