It is however extremely good and is not very far off a single Michelin star. Last time I went there was with my parents. We were given a choice of several entrées, several main dishes, and desserts. A wine expert approached us to help pick up wines that would marry best with the meals we picked up. Friendly staff, nice interior and relaxed atmosphere with rays of sunlight shining through the window onto our table definitely contributed to a great mood, but the best - the food - was yet to come. My mother ordered a grilled crayfish with some caviar sprinkled on top. What we didn't realize that the grilling process would be a show, happening right at our table, in front of our very eyes. In addition to the show, it tasted amazing and was preceded with an "aperitif" with some "aperitif" wines. As to main dishes, they were excellent - the fish I had was both amazing in presentation, flavor, and taste; complemented perfectly by a dessert that was coming afterward. Overall, it was an excellent location for spending quality time and tasting some amazing meals. While this place is a bit too expensive for a regular visit, I am definitely looking forward to the next opportunity to come back there and can but recommend it!

Les différents mets -telle la très cotée "caille en croûte farcie de foie de canard"- n'ont pas de prix en soi. C'est l'assortiment composé par chacun qui entre en compte. Le principe de "menu carte" est un puzzle libre, à partir d'une carte modifiée toutes les six semaines où foies poêlés et poissons ont le beau rôle. Une formule "affaire", pensée pour être servie rapidement le midi, ou un salivant menu "prestige" complètent l'attirail. Le plus dur sera de choisir un vin parmi la cinquantaine de variétés alsaciennes et des crus de douze autres régions. Autres atouts non négligeables de ce paisible restaurant, la véranda séparée et surtout une terrasse recouverte d'une glycine centenaire.

He frequently is updating his menu with fresh, in-season local specialities and has never failed to deliver a top meal. The hostess is friendly, genuine and has a great knowledge of cuisine and wines, she is always professional. The prices are very reasonable for food of this caliber. It is located in an old half-timbered house, is very comfortable and quaint. The ambience is fantastic. The outdoor seating unfortunately is on a busy street but the owners make up for this by having created a beautiful setting, with lots of plants flowers and a fountain. I eat there very often and have never been disappointed, and always enjoy it. If you want a true German/Swiss/French dining experience, with high quality food, pleasant people but at a very affordable price, then definitely make the effort to get to Linx.

Mais l'étage et ses 60 couverts en réserve peuvent`être mis à disposition, par exemple pour des séminaires. Un menu type parmi quinze autres, pourra alors être adopté.
