One of the most incredible restaurant experiences I have ever had! I called at least 7 times in the…read moreearly evening to get a reservation. Nobody picked up. I just got an answering machine telling me that the restaurant was open. So the family and I drove 20 minutes from our rented home up a winding road only to arrive and be told that the chef had left an hour and 15 minutes before closing time because there were not enough guests!
When we asked why nobody picked up the phone when we called, the answer was that we were calling from a Romanian mobile phone so they decided not to answer. Incredible!
As if that were not enough, as we were driving away to another restaurant that did not send their chef home early, the owner of the restaurant called and started shouting and swearing because we had gotten into a heated discussion with one of the restaurant employees (who happened to be his son) explaining how wrong and unprofessional it was not to answer the phone simply because someone was calling from a foreign mobile phone number.
Suffice to say, you can safely avoid this restaurant and choose one of the other options in this area.
