Not much more to say about it: As my brother commented, they "did the job," i.e. gave us energy in the form of carbs to brave a hot, touristy (but still beautiful!) day in Salzburg. The gnocchi al formaggio was better (4/5 stars), in a gorgonzola sauce and topped with toasted pine nuts. Kind of heavy on a hot day for lunch, but that was my own fault. If you like gorgonzola, you'll like it, probably. The service was really fast and the food came out quickly but the waiter basically forced me to pick an entree on the spot/picked one for me (Him: *sees me on gnocchi page of menu* Gnocchi? With cheese? Me: Uhh.....sure!") and did the same sort of thing with my dad. This worked out alright for us, but just be aware, you may need to be assertive.
